I wanted to go there due to the time constraints of the train connection. However, I could not enter the hot spring after business hours:/The hotel was an old building with a Showa-era feel. The atmosphere was like a movie set from the 1970s. The brightness of the hotel's lighting, use of colors, old-fashioned posters, etc. It was like stepping back in time.Next time, I would like to visit during business hours! 2024/05

Old, well worn local spa.Not for people who like super clean. But the water is hot. Lots of elderly locals chatting. Grudgingly welcome to visitors.Map point: it isn't up the road opposite the michinoeki.Better to go across from the station.

Rooms were full so we at least paid for the hot spring. I’ve never had such a horrible experience - the onsen is extremely run down, there’s cigarette smoke (my husband then explained that there was a smoking corner in the mens’ parts). I was told off three times by the lady in charge - once for charging my phone, once for something I didn’t understand, once for soaking my hair on the bath (which I then realised is against the etiquette but it’s not written alongside all the other rules. I’m fine with being lectured but it was her tone and attitude that I minded... we were clearly not welcome here). Two stars for the fact that there’s shampoo and soap plus the spring is natural and feels great.

When my boyfriend and I tried to visit this onsen after checking numerous hotels and Onsens which where closed we were excited to find what we thought was a local gem... Wrong! We walked in and were told rudely by an old lady who I assume was in charge that there was no onsen available while other Japanese people walked by and paid 450円 to go in the the onsen.... Immediately turning her back on us and dismissing us, I politely asked in Japanese if she could let us know where else she recommends. Then she said some onsen by the station and kept trying to dismiss us. Unable to get any real suggestion we left after having felt extremely unwelcome....

Day trip bath useHow do the staff treat you in a local style? ? ? ? Although there are some places, the quality of the spring water is good. Both the faucet and the shower are hot springs. Is that a nosebleed while washing your hair? ! ? ! ? ! I get it wrong every time lolThere is also a sauna, but it looks like a regular customer's room. This is 490 yenI hope you will continue to do your best

4500 yen for overnight stay with bathing includedThe location is good, as there are restaurants nearby that you can walk to, such as ramen, set meal restaurants, and sushi restaurants. The room smells like cigarettes! I was able to wash and dry my clothes at a favorable price from the owner m(_ _)m

Thirty years ago, wasn't there a guesthouse called Oyaji no Ie near here? ?It was a very ordinary inn with a Ryoma Ooi manga in the bathroom, and it felt like I was staying in a normal house.A strangely strong memory from when I was an elementary school student.I feel like I went to a public bath here because there was no bath.I've been looking for it and can't find it, so I'm sad.

This is an evaluation of the accommodation. If you want to stay at a modest hot spring in Utoro, this is definitely recommended. The room had a toilet and sink! The futon is set perfectly. The bath was crowded with local regulars until late, but the morning bath was reserved for private use and was quiet. Tell the host of the inn that you would like to take a bath in the morning. The accommodation fee is 4000 yen only for a room without meals. There were no heating costs even in winter. I think it's a reasonable accommodation.

I stopped by on a trip. The bathing fee is 490 yen, the price of a public bath. Hot springs are just right once you get used to the hot feeling.

It was a very old hot spring, but the hot water was so good that it was very warm.Even at that scale, customers kept coming one after another.I read somewhere that they were looking for a successor, and I thought there was someone who could take over. I think it's goodIt seems like all the locals know each other, so if you don't mind being stared at at first glance, then it's okay.
