I think this is almost the first time I have used a national dormitory. This is a town-run accommodation facility that was just renovated in July 2024, so the quality was not only sufficient but even better than what we needed. The staff were also very kind and made me feel comfortable. I stayed for two nights on a weekday, so it was empty. I took a Japanese-style room with a bed, and it was clean and had plenty of space and a nice view of the lake. The open-air bath on the 5th floor was a good size and hot water and was comfortable to use morning and night. The food was plentiful and had a lot of variety, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. There are some hidden waterfalls nearby, and it's also close to Kurayoshi City, Tottori Sand Dunes, and Misasa Onsen, so I think it would be a waste to stay just one night.

I didn't have high expectations at first since it's a town-run national lodging facility, but after staying here for one night and two meals included, I found that the hospitality was better than a normal hot spring hotel and I had no complaints. Since it was reopened in July of this year, everything inside the building was brand new and clean, and I was able to spend a comfortable time there. The accommodation rates are reasonable and cost-effective, and the breakfast and dinner meals are delicious, making this one of my favorite lodgings to visit again. This time we traveled by train, and the location was highly rated as it was close to the station, about a 5-minute walk from the station, and was located on the shore of a lake.

(Stayed on 2024/08/17) Room overlooking Togo Pond. The scenery is amazing.The kaiseki dinner was delicious, and the staff were very child-friendly. thank you very much.The large public bath and family bath hot springs, which are open to day-trippers, were a bit hot, but the open-air bath first thing in the morning (for hotel guests only) had just the right temperature, and was perfect for private use.It was renovated in July, so the room and shower room were clean. (I was also happy that there was an air conditioner in each room.)I will definitely come back to help you again!

The view of the pond that stretches out from the room is wonderful and will soothe your tiredness. There are so many dishes that you won't be able to finish both breakfast and dinner, and all the dishes are prepared without cutting corners. The staff are also kind. It's a great deal even when you compare it with the accommodation fee! It's a hidden gem. It will be completely closed after Golden Week and will be renovated, but I would like to visit the newly renovated Suimeiso soon.

Comments from day trip bathing.There are two large public baths. It can fit 6 people comfortably. It's okay for up to 8 people. Spacious enough. Although the glass is a bit cloudy, the panoramic view of Togo Pond spreads across the entire surface.The hot water is constantly flowing, and water may be added depending on the season. The amount of hot water is not plentiful, but it is sufficient and the freshness is very good. Although it is colorless and transparent, it has a squishy texture, warms up well, and honestly feels like a nice hot water.The day before, I had experienced a terrible hot spring at the Big Hako Inn in Misasa that looked like diluted Calpis water, but this hot spring was much better. Togo Onsen was completely unmarked and I only found it by chance, but I'm glad I found a nice hot spring.It's nice to feel like you're welcome to take a day trip bath.

I think it's because it's a cheap plan, but it's frugal in many ways.Well, of course.But the room had a lake view.I bought some cheap pears on sale next to the front desk as a souvenir.

The building is a bit old, but it was nice to have Togo Pond right in front of the door of the guest room. I ordered crab separately since the ban on crab has been lifted.

I used it for the first time with a hobby group. I stayed in a Japanese-style futon room. The room was spacious enough for 3 people. When I opened the curtains, I could see Lake Togo perfectly, and the view at sunrise was especially fantastic. Contrary to my previous impressions of national lodgings, the breakfast and evening meals were abundant and satisfying. I was also impressed with the response from the staff.

I've been coming to this hot spring since I was little, so it's a hot spring that I'm more than familiar with.This is my first visit in 4 years due to the coronavirus.Oh no, my skin does become smoother after all. Feeling happy, I will return to Osaka at 5:30 tomorrow after enjoying the hot springs.

The careful attention of all the staffIt's always soothing. (Thank you)One day in February, the entire parking lot was frozen, but the snow was melted by running hot water. I was also able to leave safely after hearing from the front desk. It may be obvious, but I'm happy about that. (As I'm getting older, my lachrymal glands are becoming looser.)The other day, I received a phone call about the Super Well Crab Campaign. I have not received any contact from the other accommodations I have booked. The thoughtfulness and sincerity of the staff is evident. (Each one is polite and kind)Taking a bath while looking at the sunset sky and the dawn sky around sunrise is the best experience, and the long-lasting warmth of the hot springs makes you feel relieved.The open-air bath on the 5th floor has a roof eave, so it's safe even on rainy days. A southern sky and pine trees are planted in one corner of the open-air bath.The flower language of the southern sky is "bringing good fortune," and the flower language of the pine tree is "eternal youth and longevity."There is also a turtle made of piled rocks in the garden at the front entrance. In Feng Shui, turtles are said to symbolize ``healthy longevity'' and ``financial luck,'' and they are placed in the direction of entering the house from the front door, which is said to bring good fortune and luck. It's an auspicious inn.Take a walk while enjoying the quiet lakeside. You can enjoy a relaxing and happy feeling.At the park next door, you can enjoy a footbath and make hot spring eggs. (Be careful as it's hot; eggs are also sold at nearby convenience stores.)The guest rooms, which were the first national lodgings built in Japan and have been rebuilt several times, are showing signs of deterioration over time, but they are well-cleaned and have no unpleasant odors.

Used for overnight stay. Second time.The first time, I was happy because I was able to have both breakfast and dinner in a large Japanese-style room, but I remembered that time and made a second reservation about 3 months later. The food at that place was very bland and disappointing. It's small, filthy, and the staff seems to have a hard time serving food...If that's the case, I wouldn't recommend it for a day-trip lunch.Previously, there was a chair in front of the table like a working space in the room, but this time there was no such thing. I was a little disappointed because my first impression was better than I expected. I used the family bath last time, but this time there were too many people so I had to give up.At least, if the eating place was the same as last time.I just can't afford that poor dining room.As you would expect from a hot spring inn, you want to eat in a tatami room.

Perhaps due to the number of guests staying that day, the seating areas for both dinner and breakfast are pre-determined.It was a place where inn staff came and went to serve meals, so I felt uncomfortable. Both the open-air bath and the large public bath are small, and I wonder what the name of the large bath is. Ice costs 220 yen including ice bucket rental at the front desk. We recommend purchasing at a nearby convenience store before checking into your hotel. It's been a while since I stayed at a hot spring other than a major hot spring resort, so maybe it's a bad idea to compare?

I stayed here for 2 nights from Osaka in June 2023 with a reservation through a travel agency. Although it is a very affordable hotel, the dinner was a delicious kaiseki meal, and the Japanese set menu for breakfast was very satisfying.I was soothed by the scenery of Lake Togo, and I was able to take a walk around the pond and relax in the large public bath.Since I checked in early, I left my luggage there and told them that I was going to the nearby Chinese garden, Yan Zhao Garden, and the front desk staff gave me a 20% discount coupon, which made me happy. It was a beautiful Chinese garden.Although it rained heavily on the second day, the view of Lake Togo from the window was wonderful and relaxing. It was fun to see the clam boats coming and going and the swallows coming in and out of their nests.It's reasonably priced and the service is good.I would like to go again.
