I plan to stay here 4 nights, only one night has passed, the place is comfortable... The owner and staff are very friendly, the wifi is good, the facilities are ok especially the shared kitchen is very helpful... And most importantly the price is affordable... Overall I give rating 9 out of 10...👍👍

This place is great. Great value, great WiFi, air-con, comfy beds, and near some great cafés. Really friendly and helpful staff and hosts. Great location for some quiet but also being close to the action , but there’s one something bad ,there’s many dogs at night they barking so it’s not a cozy sometimes

Whether you're in a private room with a comfy queen bed and ensuite (all at a backpacker-friendly price!), or opted for a dorm bed, you'll get the essentials: a clean bed, air conditioning (a lifesaver in Bali's heat!), and even a private bathroom for the private rooms.Sure, it's not a luxury resort, but that's not what you're after here. The focus is on affordability and creating a social atmosphere. There's a fun common area with a pool table – perfect for challenging new travel buddies to a game. And let's be honest, who needs to cook when you're surrounded by Bali's incredible and affordable food scene? They do have a shared kitchen though, if you're feeling adventurous.The location is fantastic. You're tucked away in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, yet just steps away from tons of restaurants, cafes, and little shops. The beach and Canggu's hot spots are also easily reachable.But what really sets The Cheap & Cozy Canggu apart is the amazing staff. The hosts are friendly and helpful, always willing to answer your questions and troubleshoot any issues that might arise. I guess you get what you pay...but this has to be said for next traveler's.Terribly dirty bathroom-restroomDirty dorm, they didn't clean it for 3 days or change anythingReceptionist just closed the fan and left me sitting wet in the table(too hot)Receptionist snoring like a wild bear making your nights funny but still too dirty. BETTER SPENT A FEW MORE FOR A DECENT HOSTEL.

This place is lovely. My partner and I stayed here for a month. It's super basic but comfortable, in a good location, fast Internet and lovely staff. Sukma, the lady that looks after the place is a gem. Always smiley. Full of recommendations and loves a chat. There is drinking water always available, two fridges where you can keep food/drinks and a stove you can use. The pool table is a nice addition. Don't stay here if you are looking for a fancy place, then it's not for you. But I'd definitely recommend it if you are looking for a low budget, no fuss place where to crash after a day out sightseeing or surfing, good location close to beaches, restaurants and bars, good internet - if you are working remotely like us it's useful. After all, in Bali you'll spend most the time outdoors. We had a lovely stay. Thank you.

It’s cheap but it’s really not cozy. The place wasn’t cleaned, it smelled super bad and we did not even have bed linen. It was so bad, we could not even stay for one night.

I beed in few place in Canggu area and this one is not best one. Owner is really nice and I can see that he is trying but my rooms wasn't good. Really dirty walls, poor bathroom without any pressure in shower. Shared area wasn't ok- fridge was uncleaned and bottle with water was usually empty. Unfortunately, after a few days I had to change the place because it just disgusted me.

Verry nice hostell with the good personal and so clean it's staf and owner is verry friendly and i so happy to stay on this housetel. I am sure i will come back again. Hy guest i recomanded this houstel beacuse surf spot is near batu bolong and old mans. In hostel hot woter. And pool ball. Ok guys. For this hostel 5 star from me thanks thanks thanks. 🙏❤

It‘s actually cheap and cozy :) I had a really great time, met amazing people in the facilitys and I would love to come again! I can definitely recommend to stay here! The stuff is so nice (especially Sukma is such a nice human being) Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪

I’ve been staying at guest houses/homestay/hostels for 3 months now so I kind of consider myself and expert when it comes to booking accommodations. I can say that nothing has felt more like home than my stay at the cheap and cozy. The price is extremely reasonable and the room is very comfortable but it’s the cozy part that Degus and Sukma really have right. 18 nights I slept there and I’d go back in a heartbeat. Throughout my whole stay I knew if there was absolutely anything I needed that I could ask them and they’d point me in the right direction. Do yourself a favor, stop looking, and book this one!

We initially stayed for 2 nights but extended our stay to 4 nights because of the location and price.+ Great value, nice staff, good location, clean room, good AC, free water refill and wifi.- There was a pipe leaking in the bathroom and also a smell of sewer. No scooter rental at the stay but there are several scooter rentals around. Can be noisy in the night with barking dogs and traffic.

Great wifi and by far the best host I've had in Bali. Degus and Suke Ma were a pleasure to be around. Next time I'm in Bali, I will most likely stay here again.
