A campsite on the banks of the Atera River. Anyway, the Atera River is so beautiful and amazing.Along the road to the Atera Valley campsite, there are many truly beautiful pools such as Kumagafuchi, Tanukigabuchi, and Kitsunegabuchi.This is a highly recommended campground from early summer to early fall.The area is small, so tents and tarps may be difficult. There is no hot water in the kitchen. Don't expect much from the toilet (lol)If it's clear at night, you can see a wonderful starry sky, so it would be even better if you practice taking pictures of the stars with your smartphone.I think dogs will be very happy at the edge of the valley 😉

I brought back facial water. There are rainbow trout in the fishing pond. Since it was an electric assist bicycle, I was able to arrive easily. Refrigerated drinks are considered to be campers' personal belongings, so please do not touch them unnecessarily.

Walked here soaking wet through rain from Nojiri and although I was not staying, the hosts were so sweet, offered me to take a rest, warm up, made me a coffee and we had a nice conversation. Very kind and welcoming people, thank you so much Hosoka and his wife, will definitely stay here next time! 🤍

I visited for the first time in 30 years and was surprised to see that the roads were paved.I failed because I brought a larger tent with me. We recommend bringing a small type. I think you can enjoy it even more if you bring your own bicycle.It may not be suitable for those who are used to high-standard campsites.The issue of cell phone reception is often talked about, but if you are visiting with children or loved ones, you never know what will happen, so try to avoid drinking as much as possible, and in case of an emergency, you can go to the bottom of the mountain by yourself without relying on satellite phones. It might be a good idea to keep it drivable until then.However, there is a satellite phone installed in case of a disaster, so you can rest assured!

I visited you last weekend.The scenery along the way was spectacular, and the campsite was in a great location, so we had a relaxing time.The constant sound of the flowing river is soothing and soothing.I think it's the best campsite I've ever visited.Despite being in a location that could be called an unexplored area, there is also a kitchen and toilets, although they are of a pump type.There is also a drinking water called Bi-kao-sui, which is perfect.Unfortunately, there were pegs that could no longer be removed all over the site.This is not a campground management problem, but a moral problem among us campers.Thank you very much to the people of Okuwa Village who manage it.I would like to visit you again.

First visit in search of Atera Blue. The river was as expected! It was great. It's also good for places where smartphone signals don't reach. Go to the smallest site for a couple + pet. Depending on the location, you may not be able to park next to your car. There is a river site and a mountain site, and the prices are different, but I think the mountain site is okay. I think the site for two people is too small to set up a tarp and two tents. Be careful here. You won't be able to choose the location as it will be decided by the administrator, but they will listen to your wishes on site. A cool campsite even in midsummer. I was able to do it slowly.

The campsite is in a beautiful location! The people are very friendly and helped us a lot. There are no showers and it's dry toilets. However, there is a small pond where you can catch fish and eat them. I highly recommend this campsite.

A campsite with a very clear river. Used for camping.It has good ventilation, and in May it can still get cold at night.Being in the mountains, there are many insects, which can be tough for people who don't like them, but they rarely come out when it gets cold at night.The soil is humus-like and has a lot of stones, so it can be a bit difficult to set up tents.There is no signal, so you can't use your cell phone until you get to the foot of the mountain. There is no light at all, so a lantern is essential considering the poor footing.It seems that two cars cannot be parked, and the receptionist at the foot of the mountain tells me to park one in the off-site parking lot. There is a parking lot just before you cross the bridge, so if you get a permit at the reception you can leave it there for free.There is also a parking lot halfway up the hill, but it seems like it's only for fishing customers.There is a minibus that connects the campsite with the nearby hot springs.Even if you are not planning on camping, getting around is relatively easy as there are electric scooters available. The water is clear all the way until the river joins, so just playing on the riverbank seems satisfying.

Atera Valley is simply the best! ️A campsite where you can hear the sound of the river.There is no cell phone signal and there is no electricity, so it is pitch black at night.The toilet is a pump type. Although they are cleaning, it can get dirty when it's crowded💦If you're not good at it, you might be concerned.The site is a little narrow, so larger tents are difficult. My family reserved a relatively large site, but Coleman's Tough Wide Dome was just barely there. There is no space for tarps.Anyway, this is a campsite where you can enjoy the beautiful river and water. You can also drink the spring water on the premises.
