It's extremely hot in Nagoya, 38 degrees Celsius, and here it's 33 degrees Celsius. The sun is piercingly hot, but the shade of the trees is refreshing and comfortable! !The area where the river is dammed turns into a natural pool, which is cool and feels great! (Adults are too cold to do it)

I used it before, but there were a lot of insects (especially ticks) that bit my feet and hands, and it was very itchy. The location and facilities are very nice, but it doesn't seem to be available anymore.

Good points: Space with plenty of nature, forest. The river is right next to it. Auto campsite fees and firewood prices are low. There are few insectsBad points: The toilets at the auto campsite don't flush. The path from the road to the campsite is slippery.

I used it during Golden Week. The location is good and it's quiet, but there are too many ticks! My feet and hands were itchy, so when I looked at the hem, I found red spots. When I looked around, I saw a lot of small red things among the leaves! ! It's terrible, I'll never use it again.

Close to Tsumago-juku, this is the perfect location for climbing Mt. Nagiso. Since it was a weekday, our group was the only user. There is also a sink, fire circle, and fluorescent light installed next to the cottage for your convenience. It seemed that the site was designed to protect privacy by adding a step to the site next to it. It was quiet at night with no cars on the road.

Useful info here:👋😀 great campsite in a forest only ten mins from the main road (although you might wonder if you're going the wrong way!).We paid 4500 for two people with a car and a tent, but this seems reasonable considering you get a large site, power outlet, clean toilets, fire pit, and shower for 100 yen (just 2 mins though, so you can decide how long you need!).Thoughtfully organised by the kind owner with extra blankets (200 yen), cooking equipment, and other stuff available to rent.Prices as of 2023. We were there in August and it was empty. This place rules.
