The owner of the farmhouse Hidejirō (ひでじろう) is very cute and interesting. He once worked at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo. After retirement, he also learned the saw instrument and played it very well. The B&B provides vegetarian meals, which do not contain five spicy onions and garlic. They include fried spring rolls with bean dregs and perilla cheese, scrambled eggs with spinach and sesame oil, broccoli and Western-style soup, and roasted milk desserts, which are super rich. Especially the white rice here is grown by the boss himself, and the rice is super delicious! If you, a vegetarian, have the opportunity to travel to Kyoto, you must stay at this farmhouse for a night!

I used it for one night when I went out alone. The inn is run by the owner alone, but the interior is beautiful and it is very comfortable to live in.The room has two tatami rooms, separated by sliding doors.I think it's a good idea to bring your family. The bathroom is also clean and easy to use.Wi-Fi is also available, but please ask the landlord for the password. The dinner we prepared was a typical mountain menu, centered around chicken and boiled fish as side dishes. It was very delicious. In the morning, we were served a wide variety of items, including fried eggs, sausages, tofu, natto, and miso soup.By the way, there was talk that we could also provide boar meat (though this is not guaranteed), but it would be best to check with the landlord in advance and early on.Please note that it takes time to prepare, so we cannot prepare it just before or at the time of your stay. The scenery is refreshing as it is located in a mountainous area and is surrounded by mountains on all sides. The morning rising over the mountains is also beautiful. However, the only drawback is the parking lot.As you can see in the photos, the inn is located in a high position, up a slope the width of one car. When parking, please park directly behind the homeowner's car on the left side of this hill. Therefore, I stop when the road width is almost at its limit.Since there is no way to block a public road, this kind of treatment is inevitable. Therefore, if you are traveling by car, we recommend that you use a light vehicle or a regular passenger vehicle (with a weight of around 1 ton). We do not recommend this for wagons or sedans that are larger than this, as there is a possibility that the wheels may fall off or rub against each other. Please be very careful about that point.By the way, this land was introduced on Tokoro George's program ``Japan Darts Journey'', and the owner of this place also appeared on TV.
