It felt very reasonable as you can enjoy it for less than 3000 yen per person, including a large set meal and free bathing. I was very satisfied to be able to enjoy the hot springs, which are rich in nature and have a view of a magnificent waterfall.

A wonderful stay at Takimi Onsen Inn. We had the whole place to ourselves with an inside and outside Onsen, and an amazing view of a waterfall. It was very traditional and we wore kimonos during our time there. …

This is a hot spring inn located deep in the mountains of Nagiso Town, Nagano Prefecture. From Tsumago-juku, continue up the national highway towards Iida.Although it is a one-story building, it is quite spacious inside. Since I visited in winter, there was a kotatsu at each table. For the food, I ordered it in a boar pot. I stayed from around 9am to 4pm, and it was snowing outside, so the view from my room was amazing. It was great to have a pot, drink beer, and look at the snow-covered scenery. The hot springs are alkaline and the indoor and outdoor baths are made of cypress. Soaking in the bathtub will make your skin smooth. You can take a bath as many times as you like, so I took it three times. The snow-covered view from the open-air bath was also spectacular. This is a recommended hot spring. It seems that one group can stay overnight per day.

I used it for a day trip bath.I went over Kiyouchiji Pass from the Hirugami Onsen side (Iida). It's a solitary inn deep in the mountains, and it seems like only one group can stay there. The bath was very pleasant and felt like taking a forest bath while looking at the mountains.
