I spent two nights slowly climbing Mt. Fuji. The first night was at Hinodekan, and the second night was at another mountain hut. The hut on the second day felt like a resort hotel. It was by far the worst environment in my life of well over half a century. It was filthy, the food was terrible (my personal opinion), and the toilets had problems. It's very crowded with men and women sleeping together, so if you're overweight, you'll be a nuisance to those around you. If you are aware of this, please stay the night.

Terrible experience, the staff is not nice and too much people in this small room. The staff wakes people in the room along the night with torches and loudly and it's very hard to sleep like that.

The staff at this mountain hut are kind and easy to talk to, and it feels like I've traveled back in time because it's the same as it used to be.

Stayed for one night on 2024/08/03, hotel booked by travel agency. It was only at the 7th station, so we climbed there in less than 3 hours on the first day. I arrived at around 4pm and didn’t know what to do. I went to bed too early and was not very tired. The kala rice I ate was also terrible. , the sleeping space was very narrow, and someone snored, so I didn’t sleep all night. I got up at 9:30 in the evening to clean up and empty the shop. I continued to climb the top of the store at around 11:00 in the evening. When I arrived at the ninth station, around 4:30 in the morning, I finished watching After sunrise, I took a rest and continued my climb to the top. The last section of the road was very difficult to climb. I rested many times. It was around 6 a.m. when I climbed to the top of the shrine.

Dishonest trader. We booked a night for 7 in a refuge to watch the sunrise at the summit. We arrived around 6:30 p.m. with the plan to finish the ascent at 12 a.m.The owner put pressure on us to order food quickly to accommodate groups that had not yet arrived. The best part was when he woke us up at 10 p.m. saying that we had to leave now to watch the sunrise at 4 a.m. because supposedly it took 6 hours of walking. In reality it only took 4 hours. So we arrived at the summit at 2am and waited 3 hours in the cold for the sunrise around 5am.Of course after waking us up at 10 p.m. another group was already ready to take our place. Didn't we book a night? What right does he have to kick us out and give the reserved beds to other people?Flee this refuge.

I stayed here for one night on a mountain climbing tour. The bed is small and there are no curtains or other partitions. The sleeping bags were clean and comfortable. It's almost like an old-fashioned mountain hut. You cannot charge your smartphone. I was able to connect to free wi-fi, but it was too slow to use. Rakuten Mobile could not be connected. The toilet fee for guests was 200 yen, collected at dinner time. Even at night, you can go to the toilet without a light using the sandals provided at the hotel. Brush your teeth outside the designated area and use your own mineral water. Beverages such as mineral water are priced at 500 yen for 500ml at all mountain huts, and if you buy one bottle, they will take back one empty bottle. Just be grateful for a hot meal, but don't expect much in terms of taste or quantity. Although it was between the clouds, the sunrise was clearly visible.

The staff pushed me away when I was making a purchase at the snack stand at the front to make way for some Japanese customers. It is not welcoming and very inconsistent with how Japanese treat tourists at all.Highly appalling. Please do not give them any business. They do not deserve it in the slightest.
