This is one of the accommodations that you can sometimes find around Lake Suwa that offers outstanding value for money.Although the building is old, it is very clean and the futons are fluffy. The host was also very kind and willing to tell me about delicious restaurants in the neighborhood. The egg-cooked rice that can be served in the morning is also very delicious, so I highly recommend it.On the other hand, the bath is only a small indoor bath, so I would like to have an open-air bath or a cold bath to cool down my body (the hot springs in Suwa are generally hot, so I get hot easily)The only amenity provided is a toothbrush, and if you want to get one at the hotel you'll have to pay a mysterious rip-off price of 1,000 yen, but there's a convenience store nearby so you can buy it there. However, with this location and facilities, the price of 5,500 yen per person per night without meals is really strange (in a good way), so if you're on a cost-effective trip and can bring your own brush, you can't go wrong with this place.

An old building is being renovated. Since it's made of wood, the stairs and hallways are a bit creaky, and the rooms seem to have been carefully cleaned. Some people may not like it when the old man is trying his best to talk to them. I like that kind of thing.Just think of it as a guesthouse. I'm at a level where I might use it again.Book with Rakuten No Meals. A bathing tax of 150 yen was added to the 6,500 yen fee.

Visited 2024.08.I stayed overnight without meals. There is no view, and the inn is located in a back alley. The road from the main street to the back alley is a little narrow. The number of parking spaces seems to be small compared to the number of rooms, but since it is near the station and there are also train users, there may be fewer problems. However, if the parking lot is full, they will guide you to the municipal parking lot.The hot springs are free-flowing, and the water is drained and replaced in the morning.Although the amount of inflow is small, it feels good to overflow once it enters. The temperature is hot (not so hot that you can't put it in, but there may be individual differences), and there doesn't seem to be any need to add water or heat it.It's a hot spring that seems to be very fresh. Please bring your own toothbrush (for a fee). The yukata was in good condition.

I'm a business trip family.I used it for work.I used it for a night without meals. The sense of distance from the customer service was very good. This is a great place to stay if you don't mind the lack of a toilet, bath, or refrigerator in your room. The hot springs are the temperature I like, neither lukewarm nor hot.I use the internet for work and private purposes, and I was surprised at the download speed of 300MB, which was the fastest I've ever had at an inn.The parking lot is on a flat surface right next to the building, so it's a great design for those coming by car.Overall, I am satisfied with the price and facilities. If it is vacant, we will register it on the map as an inn that we would like to use again.Thank you very much.

I stayed here for 2 nights on my first solo trip to Shimosuwa.Since it was a work visit, I couldn't stay inside the room for long, but the service provided a perfect sense of distance. The temperature of the hot springs is also good. A sense of cleanliness that shows that even things that have a sense of history have been carefully cleaned. We learned the essence of service.thank you.

breakfast should be includedI had arranged to stay overnight without meals, but based on the comments of other people, I was told that it would be better to include breakfast, but even though I was aware that it was a bit of a stretch, they kindly agreed (it would be better to apply in advance). To.Rich eggs, pork soup, and glossy rice. This is just right.Although the room was an inn, it had a bed and was fluffy and comfortable.Tea is self-serve, and the refrigerator is shared outside the room. It would be great if you had a microwave. (I thought they probably didn't have it because it made noise, but it turns out it's a matter of guidance from the public health center. That can't be helped.)I thought I'd make a reservation next time, but it's a popular inn that's hard to get reservations for, so if you think about it, make a reservation as soon as possible.

Easy walk from the station. The owner was very kind and made us feel comfortable. The hot springs have a nice temperature, neither too lukewarm nor too hot. I slept well on the bed too. Next time, I would like to stay overnight with rice included.
