The friendly people who worked part-time in Otaki Village a long time ago (when they were young) have been devastated by two major earthquakes and the eruption of Mt. Ontake, and the village's economy is supposed to have hit rock bottom. I was deeply moved by the warm welcome they gave to the elderly man who came over to play. The people who took care of us during the Showa era and the villagers who took over the work were just as wonderful as ever.

I stayed there the day before climbing Mt. Ontake. The atmosphere was homey, and the dinner was satisfying in both taste and quantity. One of the photos is part of the dinner. In addition to this, the meat and potatoes and miso soup were also very delicious. The bento boxes they made for breakfast and lunch the next day were also very delicious. The landlady recommended that we leave early in the morning so that we could see the sunrise the next morning, so we left the inn at 3:20. It takes about 40 minutes to reach Tanohara where the parking lot is located. After that, I was confused about the preparations and didn't arrive at the trailhead until 4:30, but I managed to make it in time for the sunrise. What's more, there was a beautiful rainbow forming on the opposite side of the sun. I think Fujiya is in a good location, with a delicious soba restaurant and hot springs flowing directly from the source. It was a mountain trip with good memories. I would like to go again if I have a chance. thank you very much.

I stayed there once for about a month for work, and since then I've been taking care of them every year for work and private purposes. The whole family will be entertained. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. What makes me happy is that I feel like I'm part of the family.
