Simply perfect French Cuisine Pension . Excellent location . Very clean and fresh room and little to no sound at all. Good sleep. The living room fireplace is amazing with huge couch . The French food is great I cannot imagine in the middle of mountain they can prepare such amazing food . Service was perfect

I stayed with a friend and his wife on a weekend in August.My husband and I each stayed in a twin-type room, and the room had a high ceiling and the windows were left open to let in the highland air, making us feel comfortable.I also liked that the bed had a hard cushion, which suited me well.The food was amazing, the portions were just right and everything was well thought out and delicious. The timing of the food was served quite slowly, which was perfect for us. However, it would have been nice if the first drink could have been served a little earlier. It came out around the time I finished eating the first dish.After dinner, I visited the bar and found a surprising variety of whisky, which I enjoyed. I think the prices are 20-30% cheaper than bars in Tokyo.With such quality, I was a little surprised that it cost less than 50,000 yen per night for a couple, including additional alcohol.If I ever come to Kurumayama again, I would like to visit again.

It's the place where you can be the happiest.There are mountains you can walk to, you can see deer🦌, the food is amazing, you can learn how to make it when you get home, get advice, go sightseeing, and have a private bar where you can drink in style. I had a great time.It's such a great place that I don't think there is any other place like it.You may think the price is high, but I think the price is reasonable because each dish is made with so much love.We also had a sommelier, so we had the best time with the best wine and the best food🤣

The food was absolutely delicious. Even the things I don't like were delicious.Since it's an auberge, I didn't have high expectations for the rooms, but they were kept clean and had perfect facilities.It snowed a lot that night, but they were very kind and even helped shovel the snow around my car.

A restaurant in Shinshu Kuruma yama where you can stay overnightTheir specialty is a seasonal vegetable French dish prepared by using organic vegetables from a local farmer. The idea behind French dishes is to care about the tasty ingredients. They also focus on wines that our sommelier picks so that you can enjoy the French dish prepared using safe and fresh ingredients from the foot of Yatsugatake.

For the past few years, I have been using it once or twice a year for anniversaries.My husband and I are both fascinated by the charm of La Meige, and have been treated well every time.Seasonal French cuisine changes with the seasons, spring, summer, fall, and winter, and is a treasure trove of chefs' ideas, yet the perfection of each dish never fails to surprise.The service provided by the sommelier's wife who is in charge of serving the meals is also top-notch. You can enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere.The Western-style room has an excellent view of Mt. Yatsugatake with almost no obstructions, and has been meticulously maintained, making it both uplifting and relaxing.I think it will create a special end and start of the day that you can't experience anywhere else.

This is an auberge with high cost performance.As it has the name Auberge,The food and staff were very nice.The room was clean and the view from the window was great.Personally, I felt that I wanted a toilet with a washing machine.Other than that, there are no complaints.

Stayed for one night as a couple in July 2018. Member of the Japan Auberge Association. I think it's a typical auberge. For this reason, the accommodation facilities are simple, but they maintain a clean and comfortable environment. The food is very delicious and the dishes made with local vegetables are the best. Especially during this season, you are lucky if you can drink cold corn soup. This corn is a brand called ``Mirai'' and is very sweet, and I was able to get it at ``Tateshina Free Farm Haramura'' on my way home (be careful, it will sell out if you don't get there early).However, this summer was extremely hot, and even the normally cool plateau was extremely hot.There was no air conditioning, so I placed a fan next to the window to let the outside air in, but it didn't help at all. (Was there air conditioning this year?) It would have been great if it wasn't so hot. I would like to use it again in the fall before it snows.It is located near Kurumayama Plateau and Lake Shirakaba. Lake Suwa and Yatsugatakehara Village are also nearby. If you have a car, you can go around any of them.Perhaps because there were a relatively large number of guests staying at the hotel for an auberge, I didn't have any particular impression of interacting with the people at the hostel.

The food and customer service were excellent, but I felt like something had changed from when I stayed there 10 years ago. Maybe it's because it's off-season and I'm privately booked, or maybe it's just my aging and changing sensibilities?
