We will share the content of the podcast Mountain Hut Stories below. I hope that those who visit here in the future will have a better time and experience. 🚶Shinobu Saito, the proprietress of the hut, used to work at Senjo, a sake brewery at the foot of the mountain, during the winter off-season when the hut was closed.Mr. Saito's family home also seems to be a liquor store, and Mr. Saito is very particular about raising the 1-sho bottles here. Other staff members also said that they would not let them serve sake.I heard that he worked at Senjo, so I thought it would be there on a night like this, but from what I saw in the photo, it looks like it was there. 🍶Excited, excited, super excited.Senjo is my favorite sake on a night like this, and I think it would be incredibly delicious if I tried it here.Just imagining it is enough. 😇I'll definitely go for a drink. Climb here with the intention of drinking it. ⛰️In the podcast, Mr. Saito himself introduced ``On a Night like this'' as a drink he would like to drink at a hut. Everyone please try it.I think the logo for Umanose Hutte's official website was also designed by the same person who drew the label for ``On a Night Like This.''I would like to ask about it next time I go there. 🎨There is something wonderful about the fact that the landlady is running a mountain hut in the Queen of the Southern Alps. 👑👗

I used it in mid-July.I chose a lodging based solely on the food because the game curry🦌 was delicious, but the food was nice and the bedroom was comfortable, so I was able to prepare for the early morning attack the next day🌅For breakfast, you can choose to eat a bento box or eat it in the hut. Since I was leaving early in the morning, I chose a bento box. Three delicious rice balls 🍙 were wrapped in a tree, which was a feast for the eyes along with the scenery of the mountaintop!

October 6th: Overnight hike to Mt. SenjogatakePark your car in the Senryuso parking lot (1,000 yen for 5 days or less). There are approximately 70 parking spaces 🅿️ near the departure and arrival terminals. Around 80 cars can be parked on the upper level, so you don't have to worry about arriving around 7 o'clock during the fall foliage season on weekends. However, if you arrive late, there will be restrictions until Kitazawa Pass.Forest road 🚌 (first train departs at 8:05 on weekdays / 28 passengers can ride) You need to temporarily store your luggage on the benches up to number 20 to secure your order. Be prepared for long lines. This time, it took about 3 hours from the Kitazawa Pass trailhead to the Otaki-no-Kashira branch to Umanose Hutte, and the summit of Mt. Senjogatake is something to look forward to tomorrow. The next day, it takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the summit of Mt. Senjogatake from the hut via Senjo hut. From the summit, if the weather is good, you can see Mt. Fuji in the background, and overlapping Mt. Kitadake (3193 meters), the second highest mountain after Mt. Fuji. ) can be seen. For the descent, I wanted to see the ridgeline while descending, so I chose the counterclockwise route (usually clockwise), which takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes to Kitazawa Pass via Mt. Kosenjogatake. However, on weekends, there are many clockwise climbers, so be careful. Finally, although the Senjo hut is close to the top of the Hutte, the Hutte's famous game curry 🍛 & local sake (Senga et al.) are delicious and worth the night before (3 cups each). Although it is long, it is worth visiting.

It says that you come down from Mt. Senjogatake on a course that is not a ridgeline. It's between Kitazawa Pass (Ohira Sanso) and Senjogatake, but it's about the upper 1/3. There were some people having lunch at tables in the garden in a slightly larger area. There is also water. There are also Senjo hut and Yabuzawa hut a little further up, and I think these are the three huts on the Senjogatake mountainside. The huts on the mountainside of Mt. Senjogatake are all beautiful and seem to be popular. The price seems to be 12,000-13,000 yen including rice. There are many alpine plants nearby, and I think the colors are very beautiful in spring and autumn.

It is located halfway up Mt. Senjogatake, and is in a good location when you take the late bus from Senryuso. The landlady is working with female staff.
