It's a very nice aubergeI visited many auberges in Nagano, Izu, etc., and this one is in the top 3.The rooms are clean and the food is greatLocal vegetables are also delicious, but they seem a little cheap.I think this user group is looking for good food and hospitality rather than cheap accommodation fees.Since they offer such wonderful food, why not raise the accommodation fee by 3,000 to 5,000 yen or more so that you can use the ingredients as you like?Rather than trying to create a luxurious feel with foie gras and caviar, why not aim for a Michelin star if you have the ingredients that the chef wants to use, as well as your taste and skill?Even though Chalet Grindel has inconvenient transportation, the food is delicious, so I hope you will be so impressed that you will want to come back again.And it would be great if there was a washlet in the toilet.

The food was as good as the reviews said! The bathroom and toilet in the room were minimal, but there were no problems at all. The rooms are very clean. What's more, not only the dinner, but also the breakfast was very satisfying both in quantity and taste!

A friend recommended this auberge to me if I was going to Tateshina, so I used it for the first time.Above all, we recommend the food.The cuisine of the wife, who was trained in France, was definitely not French-style, but definitely a French course.The dessert that came out after the meal was so filling that I was worried I wouldn't be able to finish it all, but it was so delicious that I ate it even though I was full.This dessert also surprised me at breakfast the next morning.The rooms were well-cleaned.The only downside is that the bath is a unit bath and the toilet is a little small, but since I stayed for the purpose of cooking, it wasn't a big problem.For the bath, I used the nearby Jomon-no-Yu hot spring beforehand.It was a memorable trip in many ways, including seeing squirrels running around on my morning walk and encountering a large deer on the way home.

I enjoy fly fishing at Tsukinoike, a fishing pond located in Certo Forest, a villa in Tateshina.A friend of mine introduced me to Auberge Chalet Grindel, which is right next to it.I invited my wife on one of several trips I'm planning to commemorate our 40th wedding anniversary, and after enjoying fishing at Tsukinoike, we headed to the nearby Tagaishi Jomon Archaeological Museum, and then to the Jomon Hot Springs. After enjoying the hot springs at ♨️, I went to Grindel.The next day, I took a trip to Mishaka Pond located in Oku-Tateshina.The authentic French cuisine at Chalet Grindel was better than I expected and I was very satisfied❣️And thank you for your heartfelt hospitality.I'm glad that my wife seemed to enjoy this trip as well.I hope to be indebted to Mr. Grindel again next year.thank you very much!

When you take a picture of it on your smartphone and look at it, you will sigh at the vivid colors. The lamb meat is surrounded by spring vegetables, served with shiitake mushrooms, porcino, and maitake mushroom sauce. I was so happy that the lamb meat was so delicious.It was delicious!

It was my first time staying here.The room was clean and the food was delicious. I don't like meat, but they changed the dish to fish, which was also very delicious. I recently visited for the third time (September 2023).The food is amazing every time and it has become my go-to place when I want a great meal. His wife, who is a chef, trained in France, so it's authentic French cuisine. I'm not much of a foodie, and I have a third-rate taste that no matter what restaurant I eat, I always find it delicious, but I think the food here is really delicious.This whole area is a vacation resort area and is rich in nature, and it is said that you can even see deer, squirrels, and rabbits.I'm only going there for the food, so I don't care if the bathroom in the room is small, so I just go to the nearby hot springs to take a bath. The owner recommends ``Jomon no Yu'' or ``Kawara no Yu.''Kawara-no-Yu feels like some kind of public facility, a bathhouse for local residents, but it also has the only convenience store in the area (though it's only open until 7:00pm).I'm only going there for the food, so I don't care that the toilet in my room doesn't have a washlet, but the toilet on the 1st floor does have a washlet.Oh, there is free WiFi.Sightseeing spots in the surrounding area include Mishaka Pond, Tsuboniwa, Tateshina Otaki Falls, and Tateshina Highlands Barakura English Garden, and there are even more activities if you go to Lake Suwa and Lake Shirakaba. think.It's a place that I don't want to go under, so I recommend it to a lot of people.
