Overall it was clean and empty. The price is cheap at 380 yen per person per night, many people come canoeing, there are few insects, fishing from land is OK (there are a lot of aquatic plants), but fishing is prohibited in the river that connects to the lake. You can also take out the trash (30 yen per bag)

We stayed for 2 nights from June 17th, there was another group on the first day, but the second night was just us. There was a thick fog on the 16th, but after that we were blessed with good weather. Every morning, we kayaked up and down the Arekinai River and enjoyed nature to the fullest. One night stay is 380 yen for adults and 280 yen for children.

There is a canoe departure gate, so canoeists come from around 5am.I woke up to the sound of the electric pump inflating the inflatable canoe, the sound of car doors opening and closing, and the sounds of footsteps and vibrations going back and forth from the entry site to the parking lot.If you are concerned about this, it would be best to pitch your tent in the back of the east or west side, away from the flow line between the parking lot and the canoe starting point. In fact, if you're going to start from a campsite, I'd like you to use a manual or foot pump, or just walk quietly avoiding the tent.Camp reception is held at Motomura House Paru, about 100m towards the national highway. The tent site slopes gently down from east to west. The ground is hard, even with a silver mat on it. The pegs can be easily driven in using a hammer. There are 2 kitchens, 3 benches with tables, and 4 stoves (barbecue grills). The toilet has a smell, but the facility itself is clean and I don't hesitate to use it.As of August 2022, the men's restroom will also have a door.I appreciate that the lights are on in the kitchen until 12pm and in the toilets until 4am.Garbage can be thrown away by purchasing the town's special garbage bags for food garbage and dirty, non-recyclable plastic garbage bags (non-recyclable plastic garbage bags cost 30 yen, I didn't buy food garbage bags, so I don't know).Plastic bottles and clean plastic waste can be thrown away together in convenience store bags. Confirmed with campsite reception. There is a hamburger shop and an Italian restaurant near Toro Station, and a restaurant a short distance away on National Route 391 in the direction of Teshikaga, but there are no shops (convenience stores). The nearest convenience store is about 20km away.If you come from Akkeshi by prefectural roads 1128 and 221, there will be no shops once you leave Akkeshi city. There are also no bathing facilities nearby. There are many mosquitoes. Insect repellents and mosquito coils will also attack you without hesitation. If it weren't for the mosquitoes and the canoeist's thumping at dawn, I'd give it 5 stars.

I visited at the end of the year.We don't run a campsite, butYou can ride on an ice-covered lake.I think I can go all the way into Oita, but if I fall... the edge is at my limit. It can be ridden not only by children but also by adults. You can also jump. The sound of air moving under the ice? can be heard. It was my first experience.I couldn't pick up the sound in the video...

It's nice to be able to relax. The toilets are also clean. Garbage can also be thrown away by purchasing garbage bags. In autumn, a lot of acorns fall. You may also see squirrels. It's also a canoe landing spot, so people other than camping also come here.
