2023.8.26 Accommodation.I used it on a trip between Lake Shirakaba and Tateshina, and to put it simply, it was a wonderful pension. The exterior is based on green and has a quaint, very beautiful impression. When you enter the entrance, the lobby is directly in front of you. The dining room is on the left. The bathroom is on the right back. The room is a Western-style twin room. It's about 8 tatami mats in size, but it's large enough for two people to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Separate and shared toilets (separate for men and women) are located on each floor. What is noteworthy is that this place has an open-air bath with natural hot springs. There is an indoor bath and an open-air bath, both of which can be reserved for families, and there are no time limits, so you can take your time at your leisure. Another reviewer said that there was no soap, but in reality, pump-type body soap, shampoo, and conditioner were fully equipped. You will need to bring items to wash your body separately. The food was also very good, with a western course dinner and roast beef as the main course. Breakfast was also Western food, with bread and one plate, but I felt that the quantity of both was sufficient. The host (wife?) was also very friendly and courteous, and I was able to relax and enjoy my stay from start to finish.Best of all, it is located at a high altitude overlooking Lake Shirakaba, and I was fascinated by the coolness that felt like another world even in the intense heat of August. In the winter, you'll see a completely different scenery, including snowy landscapes, but in the summer, it's the perfect location for a summer getaway. If I had to add some drawbacks, there are no restaurants nearby, many of the restaurants around Lake Shirakaba close early, and there is only one convenience store, Lawson, so if you are staying overnight without meals or having breakfast for one night, it is best to have dinner early. Need to be secured. Therefore, we recommend a plan that includes 1 night and 2 meals. The prices are so low compared to the surrounding area that it's honestly so good that I don't want to tell anyone about it. Repeat confirmed.

I used it in midsummer. It's on a higher ground than Lake Shirakaba, and the altitude is about 1500, so it was cool!It was cool even when I was eating in the cafeteria, and it felt like a summer getaway. The roast beef for dinner is tender and delicious! The meals are plentiful and the amount is enough to satisfy the average person. The bathroom was also new and stylish. If you take a short walk from the pension, you can see a panoramic view of Lake Shirakaba.

It's in a location that's a little hard to find. I can't use google navigation because it gives me the wrong navigation. It is best to check the map in advance, using the Ikenotaira Hotel and Resort Lawson near the pension as landmarks.Dinner was a Western course meal. It came as a combination of fish, loin, and beef, and although it was delicious, it was a little heavy on my stomach. The taste was delicious though. The room is very clean and has been well taken care of by the owner. It felt like my own room and I felt very relaxed. The toilet and washroom are shared, and there is a drink server for tea and water next to the washroom. The bathroom is also clean. When using it, be sure to use the bathing tag. Soap and yukata are not provided so you will need to bring your own.Breakfast was average. Is the bread a little dry? I wonder if I did.Overall it was nice to relax.

My husband and I visited here. The reception and phone calls were polite and good. The room was a different room available that day, so I was given a corner room, so I was glad that they had heating equipment. The meal was lean roast beef, which was the main dish, and it was soft, filling, and delicious. However, the wife is beautiful and the service was great, and we had a great time talking. The bath is exceptional. It's great to be able to take a private bath like this. It's a really nice place that I would definitely come and stay at if I have a chance.

The bath is really great! The meal is a full course meal and the drinks are served slowly. It was our first family trip in a long time, and it was a happy time to be able to relax and enjoy the scenery of early winter. I was truly grateful for the hospitality they had shown me while taking precautions to prevent infection during the coronavirus pandemic, and I headed home, looking forward to the day when I could see the snow-white ski slopes in front of me. thank you very much.
