First of all, it is necessary to consider that not only this facility but also the Shiki Club is an inn that costs 5,000 yen for a room without meals all year round. I think it's better not to ignore the price and compare it with other regular hotels. The location is in a villa area in the Yatsugatake area, and there are local government resort-like facilities in the surrounding area. The surrounding area is a coniferous forest, and if the weather is nice, you can enjoy the starry sky.The facility is a hand-me-down from a company's resort, so it's not fancy at all, but it's a very simple Western-style building that I personally like. However, although it has been given the necessary maintenance, it is certainly quite old. There is no WIFI and it is difficult to connect to mobile phones, so you need to be prepared for that. The public bath is not a hot spring, there is no open-air bath, and it is small, but it is nice to stretch your legs and soak in the hot water. No conditioner. The room is very simple but practical. The TV was LCD. The refrigerator is unplugged, so you need to plug it in if you want to use it. However, I was disappointed that the wooden flooring between the beds was sticking up.Service is minimal. Considering the price, it's a natural thing to do, and you can see it as something you don't need to worry about. However, this time it may have been a coincidence, but I was impressed by the fact that we were greeted upon arrival and seen off upon departure, something that had never happened at other Shiki Clubs.I chose the half board meal. Dinner is a Western course meal worth 2,500 yen. The quantity was small and the contents were simple, but I think the taste was quite good. Especially the rice was delicious. Breakfast is a Japanese meal worth 500 yen. Personally, I felt it was a little unsatisfying, but the taste and quantity were average.Overall, I really like Shiki Club, which offers simple, clean accommodation all year round at a very low price. However, I think it is important to remember that this is not an inn you would use on a special occasion.

I have used Shiki Club several times in the past, which is very reasonably priced and has a lot of facilities as it is a former company resort, but this was my first time staying here. …

There's no Wi-Fi, so it's a little inconvenient. The bathroom was also surprisingly small. However, since it was surrounded by a coniferous forest, it had a very quiet atmosphere that was soothing. Breakfast was also delicious although a bit simple.

The facilities are old, which is a bit disappointing. I was surprised that the TV in the room was a cathode ray tube!
