About 15 minutes by car from Tenryu Gorge in Iida City, there is a place called Chiyoyone River. It is located high above the village of Chiyo across the Yonekawa River on Prefectural Route 83, and there is an information sign along the road from Tenryu Gorge.A member of the Japan Secret Hot Springs Preservation Association. The hot spring is labeled as ``qualified as a hot spring as stipulated in Article 2 of the Hot Spring Law (based on metasilicic acid)'', the source is 13.6℃, and the pH is 7.92. No time limit for bathing. Behind the indoor bath and open-air bath (separate for men and women) is a mixed cave bath, where both men and women are expected to wear bathing clothes. There are indoor baths and pressure baths. The dishes are prepared using seasonal and local ingredients, and include hearth cuisine and kaiseki cuisine. Lunch kaiseki + bathing is also available. There is an artificial waterfall next to the entrance. The view is of the nearby mountains and villages, making it a ``home away from home in a mountain village.''

My family and I used it for hot springs and meals. Both were good, but why don't they use special chopsticks or tongs for raw pork?I believe this is a matter to be reported to the public health center.

Two adults stayed here during Golden Week. The inside of the building was decorated with carp streamers and helmets, which were designed to give you a sense of the season. The food was plentiful both in the evening and in the morning, and the menu made use of local ingredients and was delicious.I felt at ease with the thoughtful touches such as mini Gohei mochi served as a midnight snack and cold water in the room. There were some customers with small children during the holidays, but I would like to visit again as it was a quiet environment where I could hear the frogs at night without hearing any noise from the hallway or neighboring rooms. There are no convenience stores nearby, so if you need anything, it's a good idea to have it ready. The access from Tenryu Gorge was a little narrow in some places.

GW, everything is so expensive. When I was looking for this, I was surprised to find that reservations through the website of the Secret Hot Springs Preservation Association were available at a reasonable price.I chose an inn that was a little more beautiful than The Secret Hot Spring. The exterior was beautiful, the lobby was spacious, and both the outside view and the view of the courtyard were wonderful.Overall, it is a very clean and comfortable inn.The room was spacious, and to reduce the number of times I had to come into the room, I had already put out a futon, which I was very grateful for! There is a refrigerator, but please note that it will not cool unless you turn on the switch inside.I went on a weekday during Golden Week, so there weren't many reservations. Thanks to this, the mixed cave bath was available for private use by couples. The water in both the cave bath and the open-air bath is relatively hot, so if you want to take a long bath, you'll have to sit on a bench to prepare yourself, which can be a bit tiring. It is a good idea to sprinkle hot water on the benches in the open-air bath to remove dust. The water in the indoor bath is warmer than that in the open-air bath.I'm glad it was easy to soak in.The quality of the hot water was very good!Even though it's not thick, it makes your skin smooth! The couple got along smoothly together. The rice was delicious, and for dinner, I didn't have the 3-sun appetizer on top, so I was served a dipping sauce, which I was extremely grateful for! There are some things I don't like in 3 suns, and there are a lot of them, so I often don't finish them all and it affects the next meal, so I was really glad that I had something as light as dipping.Unusually, I was able to eat almost all of it.Breakfast was also delicious. As for the amount, it's natural, but it was so plentiful that I couldn't finish it all (lol)The communal restroom that leads from the front area is Japanese-style, so please be careful. Please rest assured that the guest rooms are Western style. It came with two pieces of Gohei mochi for a late night snack, but I had eaten a solid dinner so I was full (lol). However, I had the chance to eat it and it was delicious.Overall it was a very satisfying stay.

It was the season for cherry blossoms and peach blossoms, and the view of the countryside from the inn was very pleasant and relaxing. No matter where you go in the building, every corner has been cleaned and it feels very clean. The plan I had booked didn't have a hearth, but I really wanted to eat some hearth food, so thank you for going out of your way to prepare one for me.The food was delicious and I was very satisfied, but I was disappointed that I couldn't finish the large portion. I'm sorry. For breakfast, they even gave the children small toys, which made them very happy. On the second day, I was served rice balls for dinner, but I wanted to eat Gohei mochi.Thank you very much for accepting my selfish request. At the end, the landlady waved and picked us up until she was out of sight, making it a very pleasant trip.thank you very much.
