I stayed there the day after Aomori Nebuta to go see Hirosaki Neputa. For several months now, there have been no vacancies in Aomori and Hirosaki, and even if they were available, they were ridiculously expensive, but this was the usual ¥6,000 breakfast included, so I was grateful.Since I would be moving late after Aomori Nebuta, I contacted them both when I made the reservation and on the day of the reservation to confirm, but they said it would be fine if it was around 10 pm, so I arrived at the last minute at 10 pm, and they welcomed me kindly.I usually stay in well-equipped hotels, so I was nervous when I was suddenly shown to the room and asked to take a bath, but when I went to take a bath, it was waiting for me, and I was taken care of. He explained about the bath and asked about breakfast time. There were two baths, but we were asked to use one as a family bath, which was helpful for us.I thought there would be some couples who didn't like it.The bath was a hot spring, and although it was small, it was deep and comfortable. In the morning, I was told that ``it feels good because there's no heat left'', and even though it was a really hot day, it felt great! The towels looked like washed-out towels from my parents' house, and I didn't even have a toothbrush. The bathroom and room cannot be locked from the outside. We were fine, but be careful if you're that weird. However, the toilet and washroom were very clean as it had just been renovated, and there was a large refrigerator in the hallway, which was helpful.I didn't have high expectations for the breakfast, but I've stayed at some pretty good hotels recently, but this might have been the most satisfying. She brought me side dishes with lots of mild vegetables, grilled miso shellfish (this one was on the strong side), and afterward, she brought me extra tomatoes, roasted pumpkin, and perilla juice, which made my stomach feel full.It felt like a relative's house in the countryside (lol)I headed straight for Hirosaki, so I had no idea what the surrounding area was like, but there seemed to be quite a few guesthouse-like inns there.
