I stayed here for the first night on my way home by bike. Minshuku Kanemasu was located on a road along the coast with little traffic and visible from the roadside station Sasagawa Nagare. I could see the large signboard from the road, so I knew it right away. There was a parking lot for about 3 cars in front of the entrance, and when we parked, they seemed to notice the noise and immediately came outside to greet us. The hostess has a soft and pleasant atmosphere, and the atmosphere I felt when I called to make a reservation made me feel at ease. After receiving an explanation of the room and bathroom, we talked about the preparation time for dinner, then entered the room and looked out the window for a while while drinking tea. Our room was on the second floor, and a few meters from the window we could hear the sound of waves hitting the rocks at the sea, and the occasional cry of a black-tailed black-tailed black-tailed cat, which soothed the fatigue of the journey. I could see Awashima in the distance and heard that the sunset was beautiful, so I took a bath first so I wouldn't miss the chance to see it. The bath was not a hot spring, but a normal household bathroom, but there was shampoo and body shampoo provided, as well as nylon towels for washing the body, so I didn't feel any inconvenience. However, I couldn't find a hair dryer, so it may not be there. After returning to the room and drying my hair with the sea breeze and towel, it was time for the meal I was looking forward to (5pm). The landlady came to the room to serve the food. They lined up at the table one after another and I couldn't help but wonder out loud if they still had them. However, I was the only guest staying that day, and since I wanted to check out at 5am the next morning, I didn't need breakfast, so I had lightly asked for a more luxurious dinner when I made the reservation, so I decided to make it luxurious. Maybe you got it. Anyway, this is the first time I've been so satisfied and full at a guesthouse. As I was feeling full, I took this photo just in time for the sunset. It was a thrill to be able to see Sado Island, which was not visible during the day, illuminated by the setting sun. After that, I was so tired that I laid out my futon and went to bed around 8 o'clock, but some noises and vibrations reminded me that the Rikuu West Line was very close by. I wake up, get ready, and head to the front door. I had already declared that I would be checking out at 5am the next morning, and had paid the accommodation fee the day before, so as I was quietly walking out the front door, I was greeted by a greeting card and a hot canned coffee, even though it was early in the morning. Thanks to that, I was able to have a relaxing touring trip after that, and it was a great trip back home. I would like to stay again next time I come.
