I loved it so much when I stayed last year, and I will be returning again this year, staying here for 3 consecutive nights.Located in a secluded forest near Mt. Ioyama, you can hear the chirping of many kinds of birds, which is very relaxing (we could hear the sound of trucks passing on the nearby road, but it didn't bother us) ).There was a black woodpecker's nest right next to the room we stayed in, and we were able to take a close look at it.You can borrow cooking utensils, so you can cook on the terrace ingredients that are only available at local supermarkets, making it a delicious and fun experience.Although it was a cold season, I was able to spend my time feeling grateful to the host for his wonderful consideration and consideration, such as turning on the heating in advance every day, including the day of check-in.The best inn and host, I'm sure I'll come back again.

If you enter the phone number or name in the navigation settings, you will be taken to the south, so please enter it in the address settings!It can't be helped that we live in the mountains, but there were quite a few insects in the room.Although there are sufficient facilities, there are no restaurants nearby, so be sure to prepare food in advance.

Love this place and will definitely come back. The interior space is good and everything is very complete. There is a washing machine and laundry detergent is free to use. The people are friendly, it seems to be taken care of by one person, the place is neat and tidy and not sloppy, it is worth visiting.

The rooms and bathrooms are larger than the photos I saw on the website, large enough for a family of three, and kept clean.Cooking and eating on the terrace also felt like camping.I think it's a very reasonable way to spend multiple nights here as a base for sightseeing around the area.There is a washing machine on site.

Last time I came to Kawayu in the middle of winter, I stayed at a hotel, so this time I purposely rented this cottage because I wanted to experience life in Hokkaido during the snowy season. By the way, I applied through a certain travel site and was able to stay there at a fairly low price thanks to assistance from the local government.Although it is far from the hot spring town and there are no private houses nearby, you can rest assured that the property manager is also on the same property.The temperature outside at night was less than -10 degrees, but thanks to the powerful boiler, it was quite hot inside.Due to safety and indoor environment considerations, the use of fire is limited due to certain conditions, but there are microwave ovens, electric kettles, and refrigerators, so you can prepare simple meals such as bento boxes, side dishes, and retort meals. There is no inconvenience.I didn't use it because it was cold in the middle of winter, but apparently you can also cook on the stove on the balcony.For bathing, we recommend going to a hot spring town.It was a very good experience.
