I stayed here while climbing Mt. Kaimondake. After arriving, we were taken to a scenic spot. Dinner was very delicious and had a wide variety of items, so I was very satisfied. While climbing, I was worried about whether I would be able to catch the bus home in time, so I called. We were also filled with hospitality and it was a very satisfying mountain climbing trip. The couple who ran the guest house Kaimon treated us very well. I'm really thankful to you.

I stayed here to climb Mt. Kaimondake. The location is perfect for mountain climbing.Apparently, the house where a relative lived before was renovated and turned into a guesthouse. So it really feels like a detached house (lol)But the hospitality of the couple is the best!! ️Dinner is a home-cooked meal centered on vegetables. There are many kinds of pickles, and they are very delicious❣️The beer will go well just with that. For breakfast, I ordered rice balls, but an old man stayed over and made coffee at 4:30 a.m., and also prepared some simple sandwiches. What is worth mentioning is the rice balls!! ️It was the pickled plums and sweet miso, one was big and fluffy but didn't fall apart. It was delicious and really energized me while climbing.Even though it's a guesthouse, they provide futons, some that look like pajamas, toothbrushes, and towels.I visited in early July and it was hot, but there was plenty of air conditioning.Recommended.

This is a homely inn run by a very kind couple.Thank you for picking me up at the JR station.Dinner is a great deal with a large selection of local vegetables and meat included.I stayed for several nights, but the next day I changed to sashimi. The homemade pickles were also delicious😋On the second day, go to Mt. KaimondakeThere was gas in the morningStart climbing early with the advice of the hostAround 10 o'clock, the gas ran out and the weather became clear.I was impressed by the view from the summit of Mt. Kaimondake. However, it's a low mountain, so if you climb late in the summer, you might get heatstroke. After descending the mountain, the host guided us around the sightseeing spots by car.Eel hot springs connected to Takamori Saigo♨️ Nishioyama Station, the southernmost point in Japan, Lake Ikeda, famous for its large eels, etc.I was also able to take a soak in the bathtub at Unagi Onsen. The next day, they took me to the sand bath in Ibusuki.2 days filled with body and soulKaimon is a guesthouse run by a loving couple. If I have a chance, I would like to stay there again. It was such an inn♪

I am a habitual offender of wildfires.I was surprised to see a large amount of burning going on in the parking lot, right next to the cars. Maybe they are burning trash left by customers? There was a huge amount of smoke surrounding the area, and I felt that it was causing quite a nuisance to the nearby residents. It's also a nuisance to passersby. Burning is against the law. I often thought that the people at the store could do something like this.
