I've been coming here every summer for about 10 years because I can't forget the delicious food that goes well with my mouth. A simple inn. In winter, it is a ski inn....In 2023, when I visited for the first time in four years after the coronavirus pandemic, the dining room had become a table with chairs. My hip was not feeling well and it was becoming difficult to sit on the tatami floor, but this really helped me. Thanks to that, I was able to fully enjoy the food.

This is a well overdue review... while taking my oldest child to Japan for a late season ski vacation, I had conveniently forgotten to book the hotel at the ski resort figuring there would be tons available.... I was wrong. End of season in Nozawaonsen has little open on a non-weekend. After stumbling around the base village looking for a place that was open with some room I was convinced myself and my son would sleep outside in some bus shelter... Instead we miraculously found our way into this place. When we walked in the owner/hosts were well into a dinner with their friends. The husband was pretty much passed out drunk. Fortunately the wife woke him up and they graciously found a room for us for not very much money. The only downside was that they weren't able to provide and food for us that night but we found a room. The next morning the husband even gave us a ride up to the base of the ski resort. Very kind of him. It's a lovely homestay and they are a lovely couple. Thank you so much for opening your doors and place to a wandering father and son late in the ski year. When we come back we will definitely stay with you again!!!

Everything is the bestThe rice is homemade by my uncle, and most of the other vegetables are also homemade. The rice was so delicious that I finished it in one go.Also, the homemade Doburoku is apparently delicious (I'm underage so I can't drink it yet). The uncle and aunt at the inn are very kind and nice!If you ask in advance, we will pick you up at the bus stop below.

First of all, the food is delicious! The owner's homemade doburoku is also delicious, so be sure to try it with your meal. The location is good as it is close to the Nagasaka Gondola and also close to public baths such as Oyu.The facilities inside the hotel are a little old, and the dog sitting at the entrance is unfriendly, but I highly recommend this inn to those who are particular about the quality of their food.
