This is my second time using it this year. I think this is the perfect campsite to cool off by the river in the summer. As for the route to the site, if you take the Chugoku Expressway from the Osaka direction, there are two routes: one to get off at the Fukusaki IC in front of you, and the other to the Yamazaki IC beyond that. In terms of distance, it's Fukusaki IC, but this route is a narrow mountain road that can only accommodate one car, so you need the skills to deal with oncoming traffic. It's so narrow that it's impossible to pass depending on the driver's skill alone, so if you're inexperienced with driving, we recommend taking the route that takes you via the Yamazaki IC (Prefectural Route 6 Yabu-Shiso Line). The reception is located inside the building on the right. When you tell them at the counter that you are making a camping reservation, they will explain everything about payment, receiving trash bags, etc., and precautions for the site. I believe it is managed by a friendly local, so if you have any questions about the campsite, I'm sure they will be able to help you.Cars are not allowed on the site. There are also no rental carts, so you will need to bring your own or carry your belongings from the parking lot to the side. It's not far from the parking lot or driveway to the site, so depending on the amount of luggage you have, I don't think you'll have any trouble getting there. Each site is separated by ropes on the ground. There is some distance between you and your neighbor, but unlike at Autosite, you won't be obstructed by cars, and there are no plants or anything blocking your view, so if you have a neighbor, you can use a tarp or the direction of the entrance depending on the situation. Some adjustment may be necessary. Also, as explained in the explanation at the time of reservation, depending on the site, there may be obstacles such as plants in the area, so please be careful when setting up the tent size and combining it with a tarp (depending on the size). is.Regarding the tarp, this site is located in the mountains, so the sun only hits the site around 9 o'clock. It's not so hot that you can wake up peacefully in the morning, and check-out is late at 12:00, so the tent can dry well in the summer, so I don't think you'll be without a tarp. It's pitch black at night because it's in the mountains. Although it is pitch black, you can enjoy the starry sky if there are no clouds. It seems that my companion saw about three shooting stars. Also, it can get quite cold, so it's a good idea to bring a thin, long-sleeved layer. There are two restrooms, the one closest to the site is small enough to accommodate one or two people. The area where you walk a little bit to the hotel where you checked in is spacious.Since both are located along rivers and in nature, spider webs can easily form even if you remove them, and since spider webs can also be found in the lights inside the tent, it is unavoidable that the bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned. I think there are. However, since it is also used by people swimming in the river, the washroom and floor sometimes get soaked, but it is not a hygiene issue. The toilet is closed in winter, so the toilet seat is a regular one without heat retention.Washing areas are located in appropriate locations. I've never used it in a crowded place where I had to wait in line, but I think it's an environment where you can use it without any problems with other people. The sinks come frequently to be cleaned and inspected, so they are very clean. Also, they have a drum can for charcoal disposal next to it, which is very helpful.Behind the restroom closest to the site, there is a washing area for washing stoves, etc. I can't say it's very clean, but I feel it has the advantage of being easy to use for the purpose of washing. There are no lights in any of the washing areas, so lights are required when using the washing areas at night.Burnable garbage, non-burnable garbage, bottles, cans, plastic bottles, and gas pipes can be disposed of at the garbage station as long as you drill a hole in them. Garbage is separated into baskets inside the garbage station. I think you'll find out soon. The garbage station is located exactly between the reception building and the campsite. There are no showers, but there are two hot springs within a 10-20 minute drive. One is towards Yamazaki Inter, and the other is towards Asago/Yabu. If you go to Yamazaki, you can do some shopping, and if you go to Asago/Yabu, it's perfect for having lunch at a restaurant inside a hot spring facility. For shopping, as mentioned earlier, there are Aeon and other supermarkets near the Yamazaki IC, and two Max Value stores along the prefectural highway. There is a vending machine next to the reception building. The site environment faces the road (along the river) and you can hear the sound of the river flowing throughout the day. There are cars and motorcycles running on the road, but during the day there is only a few cars per hour, so it's not a big deal, but people who are using the river to play, sometimes use the pedestrian walkway inside the campsite. Since you can pass through the tent, you are concerned about not entering the tent unnecessarily. Normally, the inside of the campsite should be closed to non-users, but considering that the river will be used, this is unavoidable. I just hope that no one with no manners comes. There are stones on the site, and even if the place where you drive the peg is in the soil, it often hits the stone. For plastic or aluminum, it is best to forge it if possible, as long as you avoid stones and hit it.Although we are playing in the river, the water temperature is low. It takes about 5 minutes to soak from the waist down and get used to it. If you don't like the cold, it may be easier to wear an inner layer that is close to your body. Be careful, as the water gets deeper in places, and the environment seems to change as you climb up and down rocky shores and when the water rises. Also, although it is only 1 minute from the tent site to the river, the footing to the riverside is not very good, so we recommend wearing sturdy footwear with heels.
