Hotel Astoria

I'm a repeater.I don't really like the hustle and bustle of the buffet-style meals that are common at ski hotels, so I've been using Shiga Kogen Ski for the past few years.What I like about this hotel is the spacious Japanese-Western style room with a bathroom, the quiet interior of the hotel, and the complete transportation to and from the mountain station. And best of all, it's delicious food. I stayed for three nights this time, and each day I enjoyed the elaborate menu.The owner and his wife's friendly customer service is also perfect for me. This is an inn where you can indulge in skiing in Shiga Kogen and enjoy some quiet time.

I used it for an overnight stay while playing in the snow.I went there by my own car, and it was easy to carry my luggage because I could park in front of the building.There was rubbing alcohol everywhere in the building, which I was grateful for as I am a germaphobe.I had dinner and it was delicious and I was happy.The fried skewers came out, and I thought it was unusual for them to be served at an inn like this, but they were delicious.Dessert is included with the meal, but there are also items that can be ordered individually, and I wanted to order them because they looked delicious, but unfortunately I was too full from the regular meal and couldn't order them😂Even the toddler meals were all the kids liked.The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.It was helpful to have shampoo, conditioner, and body soap in the public bath and in the shower in the room.The public bath is for girls, but there are three washing areas, so you might want to consider when to enter.It was a 3-story building with only stairs, so it might be difficult for people with walking disabilities, but I think people who go to the ski slopes, climb mountains, and hike will probably stay here, so I don't think that would be a problem. I have a hard time finding accommodations I like in Shiga Kogen, but I've come to love this place.After passing the mountain station, you will see it on your right after walking for a while.It's a small and nice accommodation. Even if there is no snow in Nakano City, it is safe to assume that the area above the Kanbayashi Snow Removal Station is covered with snow, or even frozen.It is possible to climb a two-wheel drive vehicle if it is equipped with stud straps, but if you are forced to stop even if you don't want to while climbing a slope, it will be difficult to restart.Let's wrap the chain!
