Stayed in September 24thIt's located in the middle of the hot spring town, so it was convenient for visiting hot springs. The building is old, but it has a nice retro feel to it, which I think is its charm. The food was also delicious. It was a shame that there was only one shower in the women's bath.

Stayed overnight on my first trip to Shibu OnsenTo put it bluntly, it's a tasteful inn, and it can't be denied that it's old-fashioned, but since my purpose was to visit the public baths, it didn't bother me.Customer service by the courteous hostess and her husband who doesn't talk muchOn the contrary, I was grateful that there was no excessive interference. It was very comfortable, and it was very convenient as it was located right in the middle of visiting the public baths. Having a small store right next door is also a big plus. The only disappointing thing was dinner.I took the strange old Western music playing as a sign of consideration for me as a solo customer, but I don't think the cold tempura was okay. The saving grace was that the shabu-shabu and chawanmushi were warm.I think it would be better if they focused on serving delicious food in good condition without forcing themselves to increase the number of items. Overall the taste was average. If I stay there next time, I'll probably stay overnight or plan to include breakfast. Hey dinner is not worth the price. Other than that, I was satisfied and had an interesting experience.

It was difficult for me to find the parking lot, and the food and service didn't match my expectations.

A ryokan located along the hot spring town of Shibu Onsen. It is a rustic inn with a pure Japanese style. The points are below・Solo traveler welcome, around 20,000 yen per night, which is cheap for the market price around here・There is a private parking lot, but you can park your car in front of the inn and have the store move it afterwards.・↑However, the access to the inn is through a very narrow road, so it is best not to drive a car with a width of more than 1800mm (the area in front of the temple is very narrow)-The soundproofing of the room is poor. Earplugs allow you to sleep peacefully at night.・The food has a local feel and is quite nice. Simple but delicious.- There aren't many outlets in the room, so if you have a lot of gadgets, you'll need an extension tap.・The entire inn is not barrier-free, and the stairs are steep.・The bath and toilet are shared, but the bath is available 24 hours a day🆗That's the kind of inn it is.If you are coming by car, please be careful as the entrance road is really narrow. The road is one-way, so you can only come from the east side towards Onsenji Temple, and the road is really narrow.

I come to Shibu Onsen every year, but this is my first time at this inn.I'm glad you came. I really liked it.I think it's a fairly old inn, but it's clean and comfortable. It's strangely calming. The bath was nice and the breakfast was delicious.Let's go again.

I was going to give it a 5 star, but because of the proprietress's unnecessary words, I'm giving it a 2 star. When checking in, we were asked to put our watches, smartphones, and wallets in the safe in the room to prevent theft.Check out was said to be at 10am.All public baths have clocks in the changing rooms, so I checked the time on the clock and took a bath even after breakfast. When I left the bathtub 15 minutes early and returned to the inn, the landlady gave me a cold look and said, ``It's already (check-out time?) 10 o'clock? "and. However, both my clock and the clock in the public bath said it was past 9:50, so I told them about it, but they ignored me!I would have still received a high rating if I had said something like ``I apologize for the inconvenience.'' It's an inn that ignores things that are inconvenient. Also, there was only one towel in the amenities, so I got soaked while visiting the outdoor baths. The best part is visiting the public baths, but what is it like to only have one bath? And although there was a razor, there was no toothbrush. So I couldn't brush my teeth. As others have written, I feel pressured to go back to my room early even though I eat so much dinner that I can't finish it all.In contrast, I wish the breakfast meal wasn't so big and I wanted it to be more even.20,000 is too expensive for that.15,000 or less would be appropriate.Halfway through I was thinking about coming again, but the last word was so unnecessary that I probably won't go again. It was a ryokan that was full of surprises in many ways.
