Simple but clean cozy place and staff. Lovely and friendly to kids also.Closer to village parking, will stay again.You should check in advance that there is “Nozawa dream” and “Nozawa dream CENTRAL”.

Really good little joint. Old school and traditional, but we loved it as a group of 4. Would definitely come back if I came back to Nazawaonsen again. Unbeatable at the price too.

Normally would only go to Nozawa for the winter but stayed here for a weekend just before the start of summer and had a great time. Nozawa in the summertime is really well setup for small children.Saturday had breakfast at Nozawa Dream Central then for the morning played in the park at the base of Hikage Gondala which has tubes for sliding down the kids ski slope.In the afternoon we went to Sparina for a swim with the children then had an early dinner in the restaurant at Sparina. Tasty pizza and Udon, lots of space so the kids could run around and zero stress as didn't need to look for another place to eat.Sunday went to a nearby lake for a swim and a boat ride then got the bullet train back to Tokyo Sunday night.If I had more time I'd stay for a week over summer and go electric bike riding and hiking in the mountains.

This is one of the better lodges in town. Good location, great breakfast and super friendly English speaking staff. Great place to stay with kids and the rooms have block out curtains (most lodges in town do not have this)

the hotel crew is awesome. very welcoming and helpful. my family and i stayed for 2 nights, the place was cozy and always clean. breakfast was also very good. it's also conveniently located, there are local bars, convenience stores and gift shops nearby.

We went there with a lot of families / children and had another great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The village is charming and there are a lot of things to do for families in the area. I would highly recommend going to Nozawa in the summer and staying in this lodge!

If you're planning a trip in Nozawa, this is the place to book! Perfect in winter and lovely in summer too.Super central location right by the Nozawa liner bus stop. Walking distance to all the restaurants, Sparena and the slopes.The rooms are simple but comfortable. Shared bathrooms and bath were really clean.Staff is super friendly and multilingual.Breakfast is awesome - you definitely want to fill up before hitting the snow!Just a word of caution, make sure you look up "Nozawa Dream Central" and not "Nozawa Central" as that's a different place...We will be back!
