5 STAR experience and lasting memory.
It's been 6 months since our stay and my daughter and I revisit this trip and out time in Nozawa and Kaiya Lodge and it's host on a daily. Dream of coming back. Thanks.

Awesome spot and the team at Kaiya were just brilliant. Made us feel special even with our silly requests. They cook a mean breakfast very morning. Have great knowledge of the local area and really go out of their way to help - even when they don't need to. Big ups to Ty and Maggie for everything they did. If they come back next season you would be doing yourself a favor to spend some time with the Kaiya crew. Great facilities, great service.

Another wonderful stay at Kaiya thanks to Mark, Ty, Ayami, Sophie & Maggie who could not have been more helpful after I needed medical assistance with a knee injury. Nothing was too much trouble and the cooked breakfasts were a welcome addition. The rooms are warm and comfortable, and the lodge is within walking distance of the main gondola and many great restaurants.

Had the most BRILLIANT stay here with my partner. Best location, service, and made such a difference in making us feeling comfortable during our first trip to Japan.The staff here are phenomenal, could not recommend more! The breakfast is awesome as well !

Our stay at Kaiya Nozawa was excellent. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Delicious cooked breakfast daily with tea/coffee always available. I was in a family room (2 single beds and double bunk beds) with another friend so had plenty of room for clothes etc. Highly recommended!!

Ty/Maggie and the team were super hosts. It was our second time at Kaiya and 4th time in Nozawa. Fabulous lodge, great energy , great breakfasts and welcoming environment, made all the more fabulous by Ty and Maggie where nothing was too much trouble- ever!!
