My family and I stayed at the Nozawa Gondola Apartments this winter and we had an absolute blast. The location is perfect, literally steps away from the gondola which made it super convenient on the days we were eager to hit the powder first thing !The apartment itself was super cozy yet modern, and had all the amenities to make us feel at home. Despite the apartment itself being unattended with staff, they were very attentive, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and had an epic time. We will definitely be back !

Worst service. Managers are not stationed at all times and customers are left to do whatever they want. The owner seems to be back home in Australia and the manager, Akira, is in charge, but he doesn't even show up to check in. The guidebook for the guest rooms is written only in English and Japanese, and the rules are completely unknown to other foreigners, so they start their stay without any explanation about the common areas, causing a dispute with the Japanese. When I warned Akira, the manager, about this, he got angry and asked me to leave immediately. The owner sent me an email asking me to leave immediately if I was a racist. I am so disappointed and have nothing to say, but there is not an ounce of professionalism in this place.

Phenomenal location and superb hosts. Literally a 4 minute walk and you're in line at the gondola. The furnishings are great and it's nice and modern with a wonderfully big shower. The only drawbacks were the slowish internet in apartment 4 (I had to do video calls and had to tether at times) and centrally controlled heat, which required texting the manager sometimes.I would visit again!
