We spent three nights here in a villa with a private pool.After our arrival, we unfortunately discovered that neither the kitchen, the bedroom, nor the bathroom had been cleaned properly. There was hair from previous guests in every corner, crumbs in the cupboards and stains on the toilet seat. The last time the curtains were cleaned was probably 2 years ago. There was sand and dirt everywhere in the corners. After we mentioned this to reception, it was cleaned immediately and they apologized several times, but it still wasn't clean afterwards and we just accepted it because we didn't want to complain again (see picture after cleaning ). Hygiene was really at the bottom drawer. When I read in the reviews that some guests were asked for extra money because of stains on the bed linen or towels, I don't understand how you can hang such curtains.When you arrive, you also notice that the villas are in need of a proper renovation. A lot of things are extremely old and broken. This cannot be seen in the photos on Booking. Everything makes a somewhat run-down impression on site. You should also expect more ants and lizards in the room.But the large, clean pool and the absolute privacy were definitely positive. When the doors are locked, all you can hear is birdsong and the occasional squirrel climbing in the garden. The villas are also perfectly located in a quiet area, but still close to the beach with numerous bars and restaurants nearby. Under these hygiene circumstances I would no longer book this villa.

Stayed here during my 2nd time in Bali. Location and service are top-notch, however the aircon in our villa needed to be replaced. The property and the rooms were clean, and we had a pleasant stay even if it was kinda old. Maybe this villa was so nice and pristine back in its haydays when it was new.Overall, if the aircon was cold enough and if there were refurbishing and fixing on some of the old finishing, we’d definitely stay here again. Lastly, there is no Balinese rindik playing in the lobby which I miss when we stayed in Nusa Dua which i think is small thing but it is very relaxing and cultural

Decent villa match with the price (book 1 week prior to trip). Room a bit rusty maybe due to old villa. But its fine for us. Very quiet at night since location is far from nightclub. Alfamart and indomaret with CIMB ATM just located in front of the villa. Staff also very helpful. They help us book grab as well to go for dinner. Overall we enjoy our stay here.

Condition of the villas ⭐️Service ⭐️⭐️Location ⭐️⭐️⭐️Disgusting complexEverything is old and broken, the garden is overgrown with weeds, disgusting service (the general manager is simply terrible)The cost is unreasonably high.The service staff is normal, but the manager is extremely incorrect.I have never seen worse villas in Bali...And if you are unlucky, the villa will be next to the road and will be very noisy. There is also a local Bar nearby with very loud music and a lot of screaming guests)))I don’t recommend staying 🤮

Very old villa and not well maintained.. bedsheets were not cleaned properly and had blood stains.. the pool is the only saving grace.. beware of the many mosquitoes but the villa did provide mosquito coil and repellent which was good.. …

We stayed here for 9 nights and absolutely loved it. Having said that the villas are in urgent need of a deep clean and makeover so be aware that they are not in perfect condition but are priced accordingly.The villas are perfectly located in.a quiet area but close to the beach with plenty of bars & restaurants close by. The villas themselves are large and the pool is great and the quietness and serenity once you close the doors to your villa is heavenly. Breakfast served in your villa was great with a decent choice.The staff are just wonderful and all so friendly and helpful & nothing is too much trouble. Septi on reception was an absolute diamond & helped us so much. The only thing that soured our stay slightly was when they tried to charge us an extra fee for cleaning because of an alleged black mark on the duvet cover. As there was no stain the charge was reversed but it was all so unnecessary & is a policy I think they should review.All in all though a great relaxing stay & we would definitely stay again.

We spent 10 nights at Awan Villas. Our Villa was extremely comfortable, not forgetting an incredible king size bed with mosquito netting. Private pool inside our compound was outstanding as we used it a couple times a day.Breakfast is complimentary and a delicious way to start your day.Easy walk to beach Warungs and many great places to dine.The staff at Awan are very happy to help accommodate any request.Highly recommendedTerima kasihMrs Catherine & Mr Lloyd will be back next year
