Where to start...Last hotel offered by our operator as part of our Basel tour. And in a word: AWFUL.Looking at the photos, we were prepared for the setting to be devoid of greenery and in a more urban environment than the one we had previously experienced, but at this point...Imagine a road crowded with cars and scooters at all hours, add one perpendicular, next to an elementary school and plant concrete there with what they call "villas", stuck together, without any insulation. Here you are at Reward Villas Kerobokan, in this last place where we were unable to sleep or even rest for 2 days and nights (despite earplugs screwed into our ears). The night was punctuated by the non-stop backfiring of the scooters which we could hear even better than outside - the room having a very high ceiling, it had a sort of resonance effect. The slightest noise from outside is perceptible since a clearly visible gap between the roof and the walls is left.So one evening we were treated to a football match, with the cop cars activating lights and alarms, and the dull sound of someone speaking into the microphone. The other evening it was a 'nightclub' atmosphere thanks to our [disrespectful] neighbors who we could hear jumping in the swimming pool, volume at full volume. At midnight we decided to make the comment to the staff who must have asked them to do something but without conclusive results given that the neighbors came home and played music inside until around 3 a.m. It could have ended there but breakfast was brought to their room at 7:30 a.m. and from 8 a.m., we were once again entitled to the swimming pool and music...During the day, in addition to these random celebrations, you will hear the work (hammer, grinder), the staff knocking on doors always thinking that it is your home or even talking loudly or laughing. That's it for the exterior. Oh yes, there is a swimming pool at the front. Seeing things floating on the surface during a ray of sunlight, we were glad we hadn't gotten soaked. The interior can create an illusion when entering due to its high ceilings, its furniture or even the welcome towels nicely folded on the bed. Unfortunately this doesn't last because as soon as you lay eyes on the equipment you realize that it has been installed in the wrong place. No care, no concern for a job well done, 0 finish, everything is crude and was fixed quickly to continue with the 'villa' next door.We therefore find ourselves with a shower mixer cracking on both sides of the wall tiles, a toilet not even correctly fixed to the floor from which we wobbled several times, a shaky sink tap, with holes made from dirty fillings and a huge drilling for the basin (giving a glimpse of the floor and the feet!). The exposed wall plugs, holes and dirty fingerprints on the walls, the paint that stops above a cupboard as if there is no point in continuing since we won't see it, with pretty electrical wires clearly visible by above...That's all it is. And don't lean under the bed, you risk the accumulated dust and some trash left there jumping in your face. In short, hell.We asked to change- bedroom (we had hoped to be quieter at the end of the alley, but nah!)- hotel, but this apparently could not have been possible - said our operator because the room had already been paid for. The final straw, knowing that we had to spend a 3rd night there but had a night flight. At 8 p.m. we left this place (having paid for the night despite everything) but no matter, we only wanted to leave, which completely ruined our end of stay.We do not understand how Voyage Privé dares to accommodate us in this type of establishment. We still wanted to salute the staff who tried to be pleasant and meet our needs, despite their poor English.
