I had a hard time finding a good accommodation in Ryuo, but the reviews were so good that I decided to book here this year.When I checked in, I was surprised to be upgraded because the room was available. This was done out of kindness, so of course it depends on the timing, but it was a great help.The room is very clean, with a large TV and plenty of amenities... You can feel the hospitality of a hotel that is different from a typical guesthouse.You can also rent a humidifier at night, so you can sleep soundly without worrying about dryness.The hot spring is in a good location where you can see the outside, and the water is soft and comfortable enough to soak in for a long time.I had a relaxing dinner in a nice atmosphere with a view of the slopes, and I was very satisfied with both the taste and the volume, but I was a little disappointed that it wasn't a course meal. Isn't the snowboard season a course format?The main meat was tender, and my husband said, ``If it's this delicious, even if it's a little more expensive than other hotels, it's totally worth it.''It's amazing that you can serve dessert after all the tableware has been removed. The dessert was a caramel cake that seemed to be handmade and was very delicious.Unfortunately, I forgot to tell them about my allergies and there were certain things I couldn't eat.You should always let us know, but I think it would be helpful if you could confirm this when making a reservation.All of the things I was concerned about can be resolved in the future, so I'm very satisfied overall.This is an inn where you can feel the kindness and hospitality in even the smallest details.I received a coupon valid for one year when I checked out, so I will definitely use it when I go to Ryuo next year.Added on 2024.01This is my third year staying here.I look forward to the meal and bath every time.Dishes are now served in course format starting with appetizers. I also have my personal favorite sake (Beau Michel), which is great 🥂For dinner, you can have as much baguette and rice as you like.This time I bought a cheesecake for the first time as a souvenir, and it was very delicious with a good balance of sourness and sweetness❗️It was frozen, but it thawed when I brought it home. I recommend this 😍You can also take a bath after checking out for 400 yen (face towel included).

I am very satisfied with this place, there is nothing dissatisfying about at allThe staff was very polite. Although they didn't know much English, they actively used translation software to communicate with us.Guests can rent skis at very cheap prices and the quality is very high.There is a large bath upstairs, which can be used to relieve fatigue after a day of skiing. It is really enjoyable.The dinner here is also excellent, served at your own pace, with great service.The room was large, clean and comfortable. The only two shortcomings are that the bathroom is a bit inexplicably small and the room only has twin beds and no queen bed options. This is something that can be improved.In addition, because it was the end of the season when we went, we didn’t find that the shuttle bus to and from Yudanaka had stopped. Fortunately, the hotel was willing to take us back to Yudanaka for free. Thank you very much!Although the price of accommodation is not cheap, considering that you can rent high-quality equipment and purchase ski resort packages at affordable prices, the high-quality accommodation experience and various additional services are totally worth it. Highly recommended!PS. This hotel cannot be found on general booking platforms. You need to make a reservation on the official website.

I used it for snowboarding. The accommodation was so good that I won't be able to consider other accommodations or hotels in the Ryuo area in the future.The bath was located on the 4th floor and was a semi-open-air bath with a view. The amenities such as makeup remover, shampoo, and conditioner were also perfect. After skiing, you can use the hot springs for a day trip for 400 yen.The room was spacious, clean and nice. There was also a humidifier.Both breakfast and dinner were plentiful and delicious. Dinner was a course meal and breakfast was buffet style.I was able to leave my snowboarding luggage in the basement locker room, so I didn't have to pay for a locker for the two days. The changing room also uses a banquet hall, so it was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. I left my wallet with me for 100 yen.It was a comfortable accommodation that I would definitely like to use again next year.
