An overnight family trip on August 13th.It was my first time in Fukui, and as soon as I arrived, I was greeted by the landlady. Due to a problem with the air conditioning in the room I had booked, I was transferred to a special room. (It was really beautiful)The meals (dinner and breakfast) were also very sumptuous, delicious, stylishly presented, piping hot, and served perfectly.It would be even better if there was a menu 🙆Next time I would like to visit during the crab season.

I wonder if it has been recently renewed.Since it's a culinary inn, the food is ok, but I felt that the seasoning was a little strong.The fact that dinner was served very slowly and took 2 hours is a big negative.

It was renovated in July 2024 and three special rooms were created.The high-quality, modern rooms are made with traditional crafts from Fukui, creating a special space unlike anything you'll find along the Echizen coast.

Even though the quality of the food has declined year by year, the prices have become shockingly high.I've been going there for a long time, but I might not really go there any time soon.The quality of the rooms was not good, and even though it was a ryokan, the food was not filling.In the past, people used to go fishing on fishing boats, so the food was very fresh, plentiful, and delicious.After the good-natured proprietress retired and became the young proprietress, the quality suddenly declined.I definitely don't recommend it if you come for the food.If you're coming to enjoy the nearby beach, it's good because it's close by, but it's too expensive for swimming.I think people who have been coming for a long time are probably staying away.

I really don't recommend it. There are many other good accommodations, so I don't think you will regret staying there.There is a clear difference between the content of the plan and what actually came out.It's obvious that the cooking is not done well.Without permission, the chef started preparing the pot-fried crabs with his bare hands, and it looked filthy to watch.It's probably meant to be a service, but it's not necessary.

I've been coming here for 10 years, but in the past two years the cost of lodging has doubled and I've stopped going there.It's not my beloved Kanetomo's fault, but the Echizen Gani brand seems to have been a success, but it has robbed the common people of their year of fun.

It's actually a minus. I got ripped off.The amount I confirmed before making the reservation and the amount charged on the day were completely different. They charged 6,000 yen per person as a service charge. Since there were several people there, we were billed an additional amount of tens of thousands of yen. Is it the crab peeling fee from the old man who came in and said he would peel the crab even though I didn't ask for it? If the service charge is that much in addition to the price on the website, shouldn't it be listed or told when confirming the price?I've never seen anything like this before, and I feel like I've been ripped off in some underdeveloped country. Malicious.

Sashimi, grilled, fried, hotpot, rice porridge.All of them were very delicious.I thought I wouldn't be able to finish the boiled bowl, so I brought it home.Enjoy Echizen crab lunch.After dinner, relax in the hot springs. I'm satisfied.

We each had two bowls of crab (one of which was freshly boiled and one we couldn't finish so we took home), and we also ate some very delicious dishes such as freshly grilled legs, crab hot pot, and crab porridge 👍

I thought the quality of the food was getting worse every year, but I liked the volume and the breakfast, so I used to come back every year. But I won't go there anymore. Many of Mr. Nakai's rudeness. This is the first time I have had such an unpleasant experience while traveling. To make matters worse, he didn't apologize even though there was leftover ice cream from another customer in the freezer. This is my first trip in a while, as I have been refraining from traveling a lot during the coronavirus period. I didn't enjoy it at all. I'm sorry.
