Although it is an old inn, it is well-maintained and has a nostalgic feeling of being at your grandma's house. Breakfast was also delicious and satisfying.

Finally made it ♪ Shibu Onsen, Maruzen 😃 Showa retroI was soothed by the Japanese style ♪ Both the host and the landlady treated me in a gentle and natural manner, and I was satisfied. During the Shibu Onsen tour, from No. 1 to Yuganyu, Mr. Maruzen gave us the hot spring key 🔑.I was able to conquer it ♪ The meal was pure Japanese cuisine and was very delicious. Thank you very much♪

Located at the heart of Shibu onsen. Only 1 minute walk from the bus stop/10 minutes from yudanaka station. I like atmosphere of this old family run Ryokan. Master is very attentive. You can use outside public baths for free. Even a rich breakfast was served at a reasonable price. Shared toilet and bath. I had trouble with a broken ladies toilet's flush button. Apart from this, a nice stay there.

Maruzen Ryokan is located at the beginning of the Shibu Onsen, the in house onsen is small but good enough for around 3 person. The room is japanese style and the room heater is great, thus, no need to worry about the cold during winter time

Although it is an old inn, I was very impressed with the cleanliness, attentive service, and delicious food. The parking lot was a little far from the inn, but the location was good because it was easy to visit the public baths. If you want to wash your body and hair, please use the indoor bath. The indoor bath is also a good hot spring.I usually stay here for one night after skiing in Shiga Kogen, but the hot springs are amazing, so I'd like to go there even outside of the ski season.

I wanted to go to Shibu Onsen for the first time in a while, so I searched for it and came here♪Oh ❗️ Good reviews 👍There are two parking lots located across the bridge from the hot spring town. The streets of Shibu Onsen are narrow, so large cars will find it difficult to maneuver around.I came here looking forward to visiting the Atsuyu baths, but I was disappointed that the water was lukewarm compared to the last time I visited, and I was surprised to see a person who had made carvings calmly sitting in the public baths.I wonder if Shibu Onsen was like this...However, the food at the inn was delicious and especially the hot water at the inn was the best! ️The hot bath I was looking for was here! ️There are men's baths, women's baths and family baths.Men must take a bath here. It’s a cypress bath♬Since the hot water is hot, you need to be careful not to make it too lukewarm.Although I was disappointed in visiting the hot springs, the accommodation here was great, so it was a good trip.Thank you 😊The hot springs of Kusatsu, Shibu, and Nozawa Onsen are hot. I want them to come with that knowledge, and I want them to learn manners before coming. It's a place where you can enjoy hot baths.

It is located in Yudanakashibu Onsenkyo. It is a pity that there is no refrigerator or safe for valuables in the room. The bath is good.

Showa era inn! That's what it feels like. It's true that the equipment is old, but it's kept clean. It takes a lot of skill to open the screen door (^_^;)In such a situation, Wi-Fi feels like Reiwa. This time I stayed without meals so I don't know about the food.If you like modern hotels, you might want to stay away. Not only at this ryokan, but it makes me feel like I'm back in my childhood, like I'm back at my parents' house.
