I was able to hear various stories from the owner of this place. The current owner is said to be the third generation, and the first owner started a public bath by receiving hot water flowers from the Nuruyu hot springs to help people with skin diseases, which were common in the area at the time, hence the name Nuruyu Ryokan. (That's why I thought it was a medicinal hot spring.)Nowadays, there are very few places in Japan that boil water using firewood. I'm really glad to hear your valuable story. The room is new and clean. If you don't need air conditioning, you can stay in the old building instead of the new building. I would love to stay there when the weather gets cooler. When I was walking around the area at night, I saw people who were probably practicing drums at the shrine in preparation for the summer festival, and I was very moved by the sight. It was my first time visiting Miharu Town, and it was a very nice town with a nice old town atmosphere and many nice old buildings.

The inn said it was just old, but it's nice to see that it's been maintained and preserved so that the old atmosphere is still alive. Although it was just a day trip to the public bath, they were kind enough to accommodate me and even gave me a towel with the inn's name on it. (250 yen with toothbrush) The water was hot and I liked it. I would like to stop by again.

A public bath inn founded in the Meiji eraThe water is boiling, so it's hot, and shampoo and body soap are provided. You can stay for as little as 4,400 yen without meals, and the room in the new building was about 6 tatami mats in size with an air conditioner and TV.

Before dinner, get ready by drinking draft beer and cold sake at the nearby Otani liquor store.Bonito sashimi, tomato salad, grilled pork and vegetables, fried shrimp and fish. The freshly cooked rice was so delicious that I emptied the bowl.As the reviews say, the hot springs are hot and not lukewarm. When I took a bath in the remaining water the next morning, it was reasonably lukewarm (I agree lol)

I love how retro it is! Bring your own soap and the bath will be warm!

I used it when I couldn't stay at the nearby "Yawaragi no Yu". Meals are available for 4,400 yen per night for one person without meals. It looks like an old public bath inn, the public bath is made of brick and secluded, and the inn part is a new building and is beautiful. It's a public bath, so it's relaxing and the water is hot. This is more relaxing than the “Yawaragi no Yu”.
