This is a forest park/campground located in the Kaneharada area of Hobara-cho, Date City.The official name is "Akasaka no Sato Forest Park", but it seems that the name has recently changed to "Akasaka Forest Park" (lol)20 to 30 years ago, it was often used for autumn imoni parties. It was convenient to be able to drive into the campsite, carry all our luggage in one go, and have access to running water and toilets.However, the administration building does not sell or rent any items, so you will need to prepare everything you need by yourself.The camp seems to be quite busy at the moment.In the past, the parking lot downstairs used to be crowded with cars for different purposes at night during the summer, but I guess there are no such people these days (^_^;)

The site is gravel. It is safe for children as no vehicles are allowed to enter. It was a relaxing space surrounded by trees...⭕

This is the place I always use for camping.Maybe it's a hidden place that only those in the know know about?It's always crowded and reservations are required.Showers and other facilities have set times and are never used.It's pitch dark at night...However, if you want to relax and unwind, this is probably the place to recommend.

I visited for a preview to camp during Golden Week 😄Dogs are welcome, and the manager was a pleasant person.I asked if I could take a look at the dog while walking the dog around the campsite, and he happily agreed.Although the number of sites was small, each site was spacious.There is also an athletic facility for children, and showers are also available.However, the campsite was fully booked during Golden Week, so I thought it would be a nice campsite to use it next time.I also received a pamphlet and the price was surprising😃

The other day, I went camping with my friends.Since it's run by the city, it's well-maintained, the restrooms are clean, and the kitchen is nice.Don't forget that the showers in the management hut are open until 4:30 p.m.There are quite a few people on Saturdays and Sundays, but on weekdays you can feel the openness.The site near the kitchen is large enough for a small number of people, and we used campsite no. 2 this time, and there was plenty of room for three people.There are no strict check-in and check-out procedures, so you are sure to enjoy a relaxing camping experience.
