Booked the family room for 5 people and we loved it! Room was pretty huge with a nice hillside temple view, comfortable futon beds. Great location with a restaurant across the street thats open till late. Staff was very helpful and welcoming, grandpa can speak english pretty well. Would definitely stay here again when in Kinosaki onsen!

A very pleasant experience. The Ryokan gives more of a feeling of staying in the owners' home rather than in a hotel. It is very welcoming and they treat you with great kindness. The owners had our room ready for us 5 hours before check-in, they explained several details about the town as well as a guide to the onsen.

It was very disappointing that stink bugs invaded the guest room and cockroaches appeared. I couldn't sleep in peace. As it is a long-established inn, the structure is old and there are many gaps between the windows and doors, so it may be that the intruder is coming in through there.I arrived earlier than the check-in time, but they had my room ready right away. The staff were very kind and explained the outdoor baths and events, so I had a lot of fun.

A beautiful, authentic establishment close to all the city's activities. The room is clean and the futons are as they should be. …

Wi-Fi in the room didn't work at all. I have an access point behind my TV, but I can't connect at all. Thanks to that, I ended up wasting 10 gigabytes. It's a shame because the view from the room and the location were good. Also, you cannot use the bath in the inn. Even though it wasn't written down when I made the reservation, I wish they would explain it properly. For that reason, I was charged a bathing tax.

I stayed in a room on the second floor. When I opened the window, I could see the garden and the sound of geta was soothing. At first, Kinosaki Onsen was so hot that I couldn't get into it, but after going around and visiting it, it eventually became pleasantly hot.
