I decided to use it because I wanted to camp on a cool plateau during the intense heat that continues for days. Even though it's a plateau, it was too hot to be hot in this intense heat, but there was a pleasant breeze from time to time, and by dawn it felt a bit chilly.Although I used a free site, it was a well-maintained and clean site. However, the ground at site F, which I used this time, seemed to have some rather large stones buried in it, so I felt like the delicate pegs wouldn't hold up. It is better to bring sturdy pegs.At the reception, you can rent tools, food, firewood, vending machines (carbonated water available), and vegetables grown by the staff, all for free! Bochan pumpkin was delicious. Also, the firewood is thoroughly dried and burns easily without exploding. I think it's very good firewood. The staff were all kind and polite, and made me feel comfortable. However, at the time of use (August), water from Lake Hatori seemed to be used for agricultural purposes, so there was no water available. If you are concerned about this, it is better to be aware of it.If you rent a bicycle, you can enjoy a pleasant cycling trip through the deep green tunnel. What is especially noteworthy is that the staff is present 24 hours a day. This is especially important for female solo campers. The site was being patrolled even though it was late at night. There's hot water at the water station, so it's a nice place to wash your clothes. Detergent, scrub brushes, and sponges are even provided. The toilets are Western-style and are very clean. I had a good time using it.There are no designated bags for garbage, so all you have to do is separate it into appropriate plastic bags.Overall, I think this is a very high standard campsite.P.S. Thankfully, I was able to return home without the car getting flooded with water. Thank you very much for the compressor!
