The eel meal at this hundred-year-old family-run establishment was exquisite. Everything, from the taste, portion, to service exhibits culinary excellence passed down from generations. The lodging (shared restroom and bathroom) was modest and very clean.

The restaurant was only open for reservations during lunch hours, but they accepted same-day reservations right after they opened, if it was a time when there were fewer people.Since they only serve eel, I ordered the special eel ju. When you open the lid, you can smell the pleasant aroma of charcoal, and the meat is moist and fluffy. The sauce had a strong flavor that was more salty than sweet, but it didn't get too strong as I continued eating, and I enjoyed it until the end. I think the price is quite reasonable at this stage, even though it has been soaring recently.

I used it for solo touring. The plan was about 10,000 yen including 1 night and 2 meals, but the food was solid and I enjoyed the unagiju. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is homely. It's a small, old-fashioned inn, so the facilities are nothing to write home about, but they are kept clean. It will not suit those who are expecting the service of a first-class inn.

The other day, I stopped by for lunch while traveling.Since it was lunch time, they only served eel, but since I was looking forward to eating eel, I had no problem eating it.I received the Unajyu Tokujo, and it was carefully grilled, and the sauce was rich without being too sweet, creating a good balance between the sweetness and the soy sauce.I think most eel restaurants don't have a lot of rice, but this one has a larger portion, which is a good thing. The way the sauce is applied to the rice is not too much, just enough to spread it all over, and the rice is cooked just right and fluffy without settling at the bottom and making the rice sticky at the end. I think the balance was good.I think this is a very delicious eel, so I would like you to enjoy each bite or two as it is served, without adding Japanese pepper immediately before eating. However, I don't know if the amount of salt in the liver soup is the usual amount at this restaurant, but it was around the end of the lunch period, so I guess it was a little undercooked. It was too salty for me.The inside of the restaurant was bright and clean, and it was a treat to see the cheerful, unassuming proprietress running the hall creating an atmosphere where you could enjoy your meal in comfort.I often use Unagi-ya when I travel, but I highly recommend using this store when you're in the area.Thank you for the meal.

This inn also has an eel restaurant attached to it. I liked that the accommodation plan included eel, so I stayed there during the tour. The host was very considerate and allowed us to park in the back space with a roof. Riders are grateful for this kind of consideration. The facilities of the inn are reasonable, but the dinner was satisfying and included eel.

The eel is plump and delicious. However, I still prefer the crispiness of charcoal grilled food.We also had Shirayaki and Chawanmushi, which made us feel very full.It was my first time eating eel bones, and they were delicious with alcohol. This time I stayed as a solo traveler, and the room was spacious and quiet. The atmosphere reminded me of a training camp when I was a college student. The only bad thing about it was that there were cigarettes left in the ashtray. As a former smoker, I'm concerned about that lolIn Fujikawa Town, a song was played on the disaster prevention radio at 5 p.m., and the town had a very nice atmosphere with the echoes echoing through the mountains. The chestnut rice crackers you can buy nearby were also delicious, so please use them as a reference for your trip.

Thank you for accommodating us even though we were 30 minutes late for the scheduled time. The eel was thick and soft. The eel seemed to have been carefully processed and was delicious. The sauce was not extremely sweet and was just the way I like it.

The rooms are average, just average. There is a shower toilet. A large bath towel is also placed in the bathroom. As I said, I'll take a bath in the morning too. The cafeteria downstairs doesn't have many items, but it's very delicious. Of course, the eel is also delicious.
