I stayed at Marumori Hostel from Nagoya. This was my second time staying here, and everything was even better than before, and it was a very comfortable and soothing space.The outside sauna was particularly pleasant, and the outdoor bath on the well-equipped chairs was also great. I felt the fatigue and stress of everyday life disappearing. In addition, I was able to experience chopping wood and try kickboxing at the right time, so I had a fulfilling holiday.The BBQ with the local people was also fun and we got to interact with them a lot!Thank you very much, the owner Shingo-kun!Next year too, around this time...☺️❣️

This stunning 120 year old traditionally built Inn nestled in the mountains of Hippo Marumori is an absolute breathtaking experience. The host, Shingo is polite and welcoming. I was travelling with a group of 8 and the facilities here are more than adequate for both small and large groups alike. Shingo will offer to show you around the township and the surrounding mountains. There are some sauna's and a Goemon Bath (Wood fire heated bath) to help you relax while you take in the stunning views. The area has some wonderful culture and history that will please those who enjoy these types of things. The main town in the area is Marumori itself. Also rich with culture and history. Overall our experience was something beyond what we had imagined and has inspired us to return to not only enjoy the tranquility, but to visit our new friends.

I used it with my friends!The delicious food, piping hot sauna and Goemon bath, and fluffy futons and beds were all wonderful, but most of all, I was impressed by the care and kindness of the owner, Mr. Nakamura.Fire, water, wind, earth, and stars are all together, and I felt like there was a small earth here.I would like to go to another season next time!

Enjoy exciting experiences such as the sauna, Goemon bath, bonfire stand, and attic, and feel the healing power of nature. This inn is recommended for those who enjoy experiencing things like adjusting the fire that doesn't go well.This is the best inn where you can feel the warmth and kindness of the owner. It was great to watch Netflix with the owner while eating coffee and fruit sandwiches at night!When we were going to take a walk together in the morning, he made some take-out coffee, brought it to me, and showed me around town. You can have a moving experience

I stayed here with my children.It was my first time staying in an old folk house, and even adults were excited about the hearth and attic.The owner was also very kind and the atmosphere made me feel at home.The next morning, I also enjoyed the optional pizza baking experience ♪ It's close by, so I'd like to stay there again!
