A historic inn that flourished during the Edo period. This carved wooden tag is said to be the name of the group that was given priority accommodation at the time.

2022.07.15About two years ago, I made a reservation to stay there and was looking forward to it.It was reported that a person at the inn was infected with the new coronavirus. In the end, I couldn't stay overnight. This time, I came close, soI was able to see the building up close.Apparently, there is a group that renovates old Japanese houses and uses them as lodging facilities, and outsiders started using Osakaya, which was originally unoccupied, as a lodging facility. However, the lady at the Shimizu shop next door told me that the person running it will cease operations in April 2021, and it is unclear what will happen next. That's a bit disappointing. The building is very large and magnificent.

I am sure that if you prepare enough food, you will be more satisfied than you imagined. After taking a bath at night, be sure to go outside and take a walk around your neighborhood. Because the starry sky is waiting for you.
