This is an inn with an impressive thatched roof that appears in Yoshiharu Tsuge's illustrations. The surrounding area still retains the atmosphere of the time when Tsuge-san drew the illustrations. The inside of the hotel was very clean, the meals served by the irori hearth were delicious, and the hot springs were pleasant and comfortable. If you are a boxwood fan, I think it would be fun to request the room where he stayed and think about it.A short drive from this inn will take you to the setting of the manga ``Niki Valley''.

There's nothing around, but I think the cost performance is quite high. It goes without saying that all the food is handmade, but everything we eat is delicious, and the salt-grilled rock fish in particular is something different. Also, it's a strange hot spring that feels hot at first, but once you enter, you don't want to come up. I've never had hot water like that before. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with an irori hearth, so I'll definitely come back again.Although there is no open air, I am satisfied with the quality of the spring water. It feels very nostalgic, more like an inn than an inn. I want to eat the young proprietress's handmade soba again...It's wonderful to have such a nostalgic inn. It is perfect for simply enjoying the hot water and relaxing. I want it to last forever.I'll bother you again.

Visit the hot springs in “Tsuge Yoshiharu Hot Springs” (2003, Catalog House). This book features Yuguchiya, Iwase Yumoto Onsen in Tenei Village. There is a manga called ``Niki Valley'' by Tsuge. Shinzo Takano has written an explanation of this ``Niki Valley.'' In Takano's writings, he says, ``An old woman near Yunokami taught me about Iwase Yumoto, and then the owner of a bathhouse in Yumoto taught me about the existence of Nigi Onsen.'' Therefore, boxwood fans will be visiting, but it is unclear whether they are aware of Takano's writings or not.As a hot spring inn, I would like to visit again. The food, the room, and the hot springs are all excellent. If it's a boxwood hot spring, it's a high-class one. Well, perhaps the times have made it so. I doubt if it will suit the tastes of the average hot spring lover, but it is recommended for those who like the scenery of a spa. Because the temperature of the sprue is high, the water is hot in the summer.

The rice was very delicious. Each item was carefully made and all were truly delicious. What you see in the photo is some of the food that was served to us, and many more dishes came out after that. The room was nice and comfortable, and I slept well. The building had a very nice old-fashioned feel to it, and the interior had a nostalgic feel to it, which was great. The appearance of the rooms and various things seen from the old-fashioned hallways and hallways felt like a little comic book world, and it was exciting and fun just to be there. The names of the rooms, such as Sakura Room, Autumn Leaves Room, and Plum Room, were very nice. I really liked the Japanese feeling. It's the best inn, so I hope it continues to be here. From 3rd year of junior high school

I spent some quiet time wandering into the world of Yoshiharu Tsuge.A staircase with a black glow, a common room surrounded by bookshelves, a hearth where delicious charcoal-grilled rockfish is grilled, and soft, seeping hot water.I was refreshed from the inside out by the young proprietress' delicious handmade soba and wild vegetable dishes.

Although it is a small, family-run inn, the home-cooked meals are made with local ingredients. The sashimi comes from the Aizu region, so it's horse sashimi, and the river fish grilled in the hearth is also delicious. The hot water flowing directly from the source is gentle.
