The clerk (and owner) was absolutely the best!!! He was gentle, easy to talk to (he knows english!) and honestly couldn't have been any better!!About the place: It's absolutely stunning and will help you relax your body and mind, I recommend going there and enjoying the view, renting a boat to paddle around the lake, try your luck at fishing, ordering food.. There's places to do build fire and rooms to stay the night as well!I'd like to thank all the crew for being kind, helpful just being the best people you could ask for! Y'all are the best!

For me this campsite was just magical. Really friendly staff and the area is stunning. The water of the lake is so clear and beautiful nature all around. I arrived with my motorcycle and put all my camping gear into a row boat to cross the lake to go at the campsite which I had for myself. You can walk also, but to do it this way is really a nice addition to experience this area to the fullest. I've stayed for one night with a nice campfire and a bottle of Hakushu whisky. I could even see the stars reflecting in the lake during the night. For me it couldn't be better then this.Thank you Kitajima san for your friendliness, row boat and firewood. This really added up to make this experience complete and magical for me. Ps. I can also recommend to do a nice swim in the morning to wake up :-)

It seems to be pronounced ``Shibireko'' instead of ``Shibirenko''. The campgrounds known as Yuru Camp Sacred Sites are all wonderful places, but perhaps because of this, they tend to get crowded. However, this time it was a weekday, so there were only three groups in mid-September. It seems that reservations cannot be made for Saturdays and Sundays until two months in advance. Lake Shibiren has spring water and is very beautiful and quiet. Although the price is high, this campground is well worth a visit. The site for setting up is limited to the opposite bank of the administration building. If you have a lot of luggage, rent a unicycle. This time I visited by bike, but the parking fee was 400 yen. I thought this was a bit expensive, but it was a covered bicycle parking lot. If I can get a weekday off during the autumn leaves season, I would like to go again.

We also stayed overnight at other campgrounds, so we decided to stay in a mountain villa without meals during the three-day weekend of July.We use the mountain hut, but you can also use the campsite from 1:00 pm until night. However, on that day, the rain forecast turned cloudy, but the mountain hut users were able to use the area under the tarp next to the deck where they could have a BBQ, so to avoid the fatigue of carrying luggage, we decided to relax here and have a bonfire. I received it!During the day, we watched people enjoying canoeing and SUP, and after sunset, we were able to relax on the quiet lakeside! You can walk around the lake in less than 20 minutes. The people at Suimeiso were kind and polite and made me feel comfortable. The mountain hut was old but had a nice atmosphere, and I was happy to be able to take a bath and sleep on a futon! Please note that there is no TV or air conditioner in the room.At the end, we had delicious hot chai on the deck!I would like to visit again during the best autumn foliage season!

Shibirenko also appears in Yuru Camp. It's hard to get a reservation on the weekend, so I made a reservation on a weekday. It was the height of the heat at the end of July, but once we were in the shade, it didn't feel that hot. The sun is dangerously hot. A thunderstorm came on the way. After all, the road to get here was difficult. You need to climb a steep mountain path. It is especially steep from the south with many curves.Furthermore, there are parts of the road to the campsite reception where you cannot pass each other, so you must call in advance to make sure you are planning to go there.Rakuten Mobile doesn't have radio waves, so I had to walk to the reception desk.It is a traditional place rich in nature, which is the opposite of the convenient and beautiful campgrounds of today.People who don't like insects, toilets, kitchens, etc. may find this annoying. After parking your bike or car, rent a unicycle and walk for about 8 minutes. It's difficult if you have a lot of luggage. However, I couldn't hear any mechanical sounds at all, only the sounds of nature. The scenery is nothing but nature as far as the eye can see. In addition, digital detox without radio waves. It will be irresistible for those who like it.This is the first time I've been to a campsite that promotes nature. This silence is priceless. My heart was at peace.Especially at night, it's pitch black and the silence creates a great atmosphere. The full moon was beautiful.

A campsite on the shores of Lake Shibiren. This campground is also famous for Yuru Camp.Lake Shibiren is also beautiful and the view is amazing. It's about 500 meters from Suimeiso's parking lot to the campsite, which is quite a distance. I use a unicycle to carry my luggage. If you are used to auto camping, carrying your luggage can be quite a challenge. .It's tough if you don't have compact tools and good packing skills. However, I feel that we should enjoy such hardships. I thought that's why I was able to keep it clean. The manager is very kind. The toilets at the campsite are not empty, they are new and have biomass toilets. However, it is not a flush toilet. .I went black bass fishing at Shibiren Lake.Currently, the donation is 500 yen.The water is clear so you can see the fish clearly.I had some luck with spinnerbaits and spoons, but all three times I ended up falling apart and had zero catches. . It looks good, so it looks like I'll be able to catch it, but I can't. It was true that you can't catch the fish you see. If you are good at it, I think you can easily catch it. .

As an extension of my return from climbing, I went around Lake Shibiren. It took about 1.5km and 15 minutes to go around. Maybe it was because it was pre-season, but it was a relaxing place overlooking a quiet lake 😊 I'd like to go camping someday 😄

A beautiful lake in front, cedar trees in the back...I enjoyed camping in a quiet and relaxing space. There are plenty of activities such as walking around the lake (15 minutes per trip), fishing, canoeing, and boating.

I came here because it is a sacred place for Yuru Camp! This place is great! It was worth the long distance run!◯Good points•Very quiet and with great views-The administrator is very polite and kind.•Hot chai is delicious-You can cross the lake by rowing boats and pedalboards.-Although it is only for a limited time, there are stalls where you can eat coffee, curry, etc., and the staff are very friendly (I had curry, coffee, and cake, and it was very delicious)*Store name “3free”-You can buy various things at the shop (there are also goods)•Yuru Camp Street◯What caught my attention-To be honest, there is a toilet on the site, but it is not flush, so some people may be concerned.*Suimeisou washes with water (there is no washlet)-Campers with a lot of luggage may need to make a round trip to get to the Yurucamp street site by unicycle to the opposite shore.Actually, I listed some things that I was concerned about, but this campsite was so nice that I didn't have any concerns at all.We also used a rowboat to transport the food, and it was a great memory.I don't know when it will be, but I want to come again!

The clerk's personality is also good.It was also fun to experience riding a unicycle around the lake.Lake Shibiren was also beautiful and nice.I don't mind that the toilet doesn't have a faucet though.Isn't it time to clean? The smell wafts depending on the direction of the wind.At least the 3 areas from the toilet to the lakeside were not working. Also, does the water taste strange?Does it feel like rust?
