I was wondering if I would have to climb up a heart-breaking hill over and over with my camping gear, but it might be a good idea to be able to drive up to the camping space and unload my luggage (^^)There are a lot of rules, but if you're a regular camper, they're commonplace, so they're not too formal.★4 because the procedure is troublesome by mail

A few decades ago, on my way back from camping in Himeharu no Sato, I went to the Otaki Prefectural Forest campsite to preview and have a BBQ.I went to the management building and found out that you can't have an open fire.I rented a cassette stove and had BBQ ingredients. I bought it and kept it, so it was ok. There was a hiking course on the map, so my friends and I were on the way there when we encountered a mountain snake. It used to be non-venomous, but we discovered the poison that causes neuralgia and it turned into a poisonous snake. I remember chasing and catching them when I was in middle school. Otaki Prefectural Forest has a nice bungalow 🏡, but it's a shame that we can't sit around the fire and have a bonfire 🔥. Although the location is good😖.

I rented a cottage at the end of the year, and it was quite well built. You can use the air conditioner for 100 yen for 2 hours.I was able to endure it until 2 hours after the air conditioner turned off.The site is large and feels private.

A relaxing campsite where an old man welcomes you. The style of pitching a tent on top of a drainboard may not be suitable depending on the size of the tent. It was a very attractive place where you could even have a campfire! This is a campsite that I would like to use again!

A well-managed, inexpensive, and good forest campsite.Although the facilities such as toilets and kitchens are old, they are kept well-maintained, and there is hardly any trash left inside.Burnable garbage and raw garbage should be placed in a plastic bucket (with a lid) given to you at reception and returned as is when you check out. There is a disposal area for bottles, cans, and plastic bottles in the kitchen. The managers were very friendly, and it was a pleasant campsite with the sounds of birds chirping.Tent sites are a little difficult. There is a 3.5m x 3.5m grid on the site, and the tent will be pitched on top of it.All but the smallest tents will be pitched in a way that protrudes and has steps. This can be difficult for people who are not used to pitching a tent. Large tents can be difficult to set up. (Due to the slats, the tent is less prone to condensation.)Since the site is not that big, it is difficult to use a tarp. Both cabins and sites have wooden tables and chairs (some places don't have them)Taking advantage of the slope, some efforts have been made to make it difficult to see each site from the other, but some sites are quite close to each other.Since my cabin was adjacent to my cabin, I woke up at 5am to the sound of people talking in the cabin next door and the sound of the outdoor engine. The kitchen and eating area (tables and chairs) are spacious and convenient. There is also a roof, so you can eat and drink here even if it rains without a tarp. The outside lights and restrooms are on throughout the night, making it easy for small children to walk around.Sites near outdoor lights are very bright...Cars are parked in the parking lot except when unloading. The road is not wide, so it may be a little difficult to turn around if you have a large vehicle. If you're using a cabin, you won't have to worry about pitching a tent, so I think it's an easy-to-use campground.Highly recommended for those who want to go camping but don't have a tent yet. (Or if it is a rental tent, the slatted size is suitable)

It seems they don't do it in winter. The site is not very large. Does it feel good in spring and summer?
