Stayed here for camping and mountain climbing. It's an auto camping style where you can drive your car next to the tent, but the ground is sparkling. When I thought about it, there were glass shards from bottles buried here and there, probably trash from previous campers. We started by collecting glass shards before setting up the tent, but this is often the case.We do not recommend walking barefoot or in sandals, as you will definitely get injured if you go barefoot.I ended up picking up a small bucket full of glass shards just to make room for my tent. There is a toilet near the tent site, but the building is not properly sealed, so insects and bees get in.The toilet seat has a flush system, but it is full of spider webs and is not well cleaned. Even my husband, who likes to camp, found the toilet too infested with bugs, so we ended up having to go to a pitch-black public toilet in a parking lot a little further away. The restroom in the parking lot has no lights, so it's pitch black, but this one is much cleaner.I've experienced the fact that I'm grateful to have a toilet in the mountains where I can't go by car, but I don't think it's worth it if it's a well-maintained toilet that you can go to by car.I'm fishing in an area where fishing is prohibited, I can't sleep at night because of the noise of drifting cars and out-of-control cars, I'm hanging out in the parking lot, and I'm woken up at 4:30 a.m. by the sound of motorbikes, which is the worst way to sleep. . I can't tell you how many times I thought about calling 110 because it was so noisy at night. This is definitely Initial D's sacred place. I also like Initial D, but I don't want to enjoy it by causing inconvenience to people and traffic violations.I was able to get a discount ticket for a day trip hot spring nearby, so it was nice to be able to enter for 300 yen.It was nice, but there is Ikaho Onsen just a little further down, so if you can go to Ikaho Onsen for a day trip, you might be better off going there.Located on the shores of Lake Haruna, the scenery is perfect. You can see the stars at night, and it's also good for climbing Haruna Fuji. However, there are bears in the area, so you need to take precautions.Because it is located in a forest zone, there are no strong winds and there are no extreme temperature differences, so the climate is pleasant. There are gnats because it is near Lake Haruna. I also want to take measures against insects. The manager and his wife are good people and are not bad people.I'm not a bad person, but if you ask me if I'd like to go again, I don't think I'll do it again. Please note that firewood costs 1,200 yen per bundle, but it's pretty salty, so we recommend bringing your own firewood.

This is a campground adjacent to Lake Haruna. This campground is run by a couple, and the managers are very kind and reassuring. The lake is right in front of you, and there are also amusements and hot springs nearby. The water was drawn from a well and thoroughly purified, so not only was it good for drinking, but it was also very cold and pleasant.I think the scenery would be even better if there were fewer trees facing the lake, but I wonder if it would cause environmental damage? This is a campsite that I would like to come back to again.

This is an old-fashioned campsite with restrooms. The equipment is old and the battle against insects...😭The water hole is also old.Other than that it's great. It's compact and convenient with a view of the lake and shaded by trees, and the manager is kind.I was a little disappointed in the toilet...

It's like setting up a tent in the grass. It was empty, so I pitched it near the toilet and water source. It's a bit of a slope, so it's a good idea to consider which direction you want to sleep in. The manager treats you in a pleasant manner. It feels great to see Lake Haruna spreading out in front of you. The toilet has a faucet, but the Western-style toilet may be a little difficult due to its size. We will also give you a discount coupon for a nearby natural hot spring (a few minutes by car or about a 20 minute walk). This time it was windy and cold. (From the end of April to the beginning of May) The garbage will be picked up by the manager.

An oasis in Gunma, a sealess prefecture! And this campsite (you can pitch a tent or bungalow, you have to pay a tarp fee in addition to the tent fee, but it's still cheap!!) is the only wonderful place with a lake view ☆ (others can see the lake, but (Many areas where camping and tent installation are prohibited)◆Pets allowed (no charge)◆Fresh milk sales ant◆Water hole ant, electric ant◆ Kind manager◆No need to take trash home (supported by the manager)◆You can go around the lake (about 5.6km/2hrs leisurely walk)◆There are food shops, hot springs, and small playgrounds nearby.◆The toilet feels like a campsite toilet (unisex)◆Check out 11:00◆Check-in possible in the morning

The location is good, the manager is nice, and it's the best. However, "D" was so loud during the night that I couldn't sleep. What a shame on such a wonderful night (TT)I guess it can't be helped since it's a sacred place...

This is an auto campsite facing a beautiful lake. The water surface reflected by the early morning sun was so beautiful that I couldn't help but take many pictures.Water stations and toilets are well-maintained, and if you separate the trash and charcoal you generate while camping, the manager will take care of it for free, so you can enjoy camping comfortably. However, since it is a place surrounded by mountains after climbing a long mountain pass, there are no supermarkets nearby, and the manager also comes down the mountain in the evening, so be sure to prepare plenty of food and fuel in advance. I think it would be a good idea to do so.Also, when I used it in September, it was so cold in the mornings and evenings that I was shivering, so cold protection is a must. I heard that it is closed during the winter, so I would like to use it if I have a chance next year. Thank you very much.

It was a sudden stay, but they were able to accommodate us.They were very considerate and kind, telling me to buy charcoal at the supermarket at the foot of the mountain because it was expensive to buy it at home.Bungalows are a common type.I want to come again.

In the movie "Ultra Q: Garamon's Counterattack," the chase between the semi-human man in a black coat (starring by Michio Yoshikuni) and the regulars was filmed in this area. The scene where the police officers are attacked, they are at the mercy of a machine operated by a man in a black coat (semi-human), and even the scene where the situation is reversed was filmed here.
