The water in the pool villa was halfway empty each morning and we had to keep filling it up ourselves with the garden hose. The entry of our villa smelt like garbage and poo because it’s located at the back of the property where all the rubbish is kept. The bedroom smelt like mould and the bathroom smelt of urine. The beds were so uncomfortable that we went to the store to buy fresh sheets and a pillow. They felt dirty and made us itchy. We were supposed to stay for 7 nights but left on day 4 because the water for the shower and toilet stopped working.The doors to the villa don’t lock properly and do not feel secure. There is no sun over the pool in the villa and it felt very cold. The main pool has no atmosphere - no music, no bar. The restaurant attached to the hotel at the front is okay.If you can get this accommodation on a budget it’s okay but would not recommend it for anyone wanting to stay somewhere half decent. We gave two stars due to the location which was awesome. Probably the only positive for us and also the Italian Bottega restaurant a few doors down.

I was so happy during i stayed in bali ayu vila. The receptionist is really kind and very helpful. The room is clean and proper, the linen is perfect, bed is comfy, towel is provided and other amenities. The room boy is also sincerely kind.Absolutely i will stay again here once i travel to Bali.

We had a booking for 3 nights but stayed only for 2 nights as the rooms keep getting a lot of geckos/monitor lizards.The garden view rooms are too dense. Probably they should change the name to jungle/forest view rooms. They should trim and maintain the planters. They just keep growing it like a forest.

Last night I checked into a hotel and this morning I left for breakfast (I was away for only 2 hours) and discovered that my money had been stolen. Be careful with personal belongings and do not leave money in the room. A safe is also not a safe place to store personal items.

We had a terrible experience. We were given an old tarnished villa with insects and lizards crawling. We had to relocate with 6 years twins at 9 pm. They were not cordial and ready to exchange an give us a better villa. Please verify before you book. The online booking shows you a beautiful villa and when you land there they give you an old villa.

The bathroom was impressive with an outdoor shower. Good sized pool for relaxing and swimming with a tropical garden surrounding. The villas are situated on a private access so it's quiet, with friendly staff maintaining security at all times. The location is ideal for restaurants, entertainment and the beach is a short walk.I had no complaints.Ayu Villas and Hotel feels like home when you explore and enjoy the best of Bali

Pro: 2 nights stay was good. Got the 2nd floor room which is located far away from the entrance. The room was clean, spacious, complete with bathroom amnesties.Cons; air conditioning needs to be improved, it wasn't cool at all during the stay, with the hot scorching sun of Bali, we couldn't get the refreshing cool air from the air conditioning. Another note is the Wi-Fi, it needs improvement also.

great location, but a real waste of money we spent on this 'hotel'.3 stars, i understand. but i really don't understand most of the reviews on this hotel. my partner and i checked out after checking in 4 hours ago. we just had to check out as we were so appalled with everything.i guess it really goes without saying, "you get what you pay for", and i suppose for $55 a night, it's really almost nothing.- our room door does not close properly,- safe does not work,- toilet stinks,- staff at counter at 1am is sleeping,- did not even ask to check my partners passport (which is a norm if you're travelling in a group),- bed is so dirty; stained, smells, and hair strands all over,- TV doesn't work,and i could continue as the list just goes on, but i will stop here.two pros to this hotel:1. great location; we found our very last minute hotel for the rest of our stay just 2 minutes walk away2. the food place connected to the hotel actually looks good but kind of pricey for Bali.anyways, that's just me.

Everything was great. Things were done so fast and perfectly. Also the staffs were sooo friendly. I love the vibe in the pool, super chill and peaceful. And there is a motorbike rental right opposite the hotel so it's really convenient for anyone needs it.It's a great place for people who doesnt like crowded and noisy place as well, just a calm chilling place to stay

I booked for apartment room..very spacy..yeah its old style room..but good value and it is clean. We got bathup and shower as well. The location very strategic..near to potato beach club and petitenget beach. The breakfast excellent..with various choices. Just need to change the Tv with bigger tv, coz my room biig
