This place is noisy and not well insulated. There are no elevator and the staircase is very narrow. The host was not very helpful. Not a real hotel, more like an airbnb with no amenities

We stayed at Compass AirBnb for 2 nights and it is absolutely 100% recommended.The location is pretty close to the city center and Nagano Central Station. We arrived there by car and even though there is no private parking there are few reasonably priced options just in front of the accommodation for 1100 yen/24 hours.The apartment we stayed in is located on the 4th floor which offers a pretty nice view. It was clean and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. There are also a washing machine and a drier located on the 5th floor.The communication with the host was great at all times from when we did the reservation till the moment of checkout and everything is automated via a lock at the door.Once again I can't recommend this place enough if you are visiting Nagano.

A wonderful Airbnb very close to the main station. Large, airy, sunny, and comfortable all around. As a family of three we felt like we had more than enough room.Luxurious full size bathtub!Fully stocked kitchen.Outstanding service by Yamaguchi-san.

Location is 8 minutes walk from Nagano Station.It's next to the road so it's easy to find. It's nice that the wifi is broken.There is no bathtub. There is everything you can use in the kitchen.There is a washing machine, dryer, and detergent on the 5th floor. First of all, the room is so big that I like it. The mattress is not included in the bed. You can use 2 more blankets each. A size that can be used by friends or family. There is a ramen and lunch box restaurant nearby.Disadvantages - 2 showers, 1 sink, 2 toilets, 1 kitchen, 1 living room, 2 rooms, 1 lighting switch, and 9 ventilation fan switches;; too many.And the stairs that others are talking about;; I knew there was no elevator, but the stairs were steep and very narrow. It would be hard for an adult male to carry a 30-inch suitcase up the stairs.However, I was satisfied even considering that I only had to go up with the carrier once. If you are a female group member and your carrier is over 24 inches, please look elsewhere.

About 10min walk from Nagana station. Room is old, but is comfy. There are no TV channels, but they provide Netflix. There is separate speakers and sub-woofer for the TV audio. Common washer and dryer are available. Unfortunately, there is no lift, and the stairs are steep and narrow. Carrying up/down large luggage is a problem. The smell of the shampoo and body wash was quite nice and the air freshener was nice too. Towels are clean. The kitchen deco is quite dated.

This is an Air B&B, so there is no room service. Fantastic location 10 minutes to the Nagano train station. Great lodgings for the price.Note no elevator, so if lugging luggage up to 5 floors is not your thing, then skip this place.As of the date of posting, there is a big building being constructed across the road, and the apartment overlooks a busy road. The double sliding glass doors keep the noise out, though. It wasn't an issue for us, but if serenity is your thing then skip.
