It was my first time using a lodging, and I had the usual meals and drinks. You can spend a quiet time with a moderate number of people. I stayed there in early September, but there was no air conditioning; instead, there was heating and blankets. There's no need for air conditioning.

Wonderful old Japanese guest house. If you go there make sure to book dinner and breakfast, it is very delicious! On request, even vegetarian options (which we had and which were very plentiful and delicious) are available.

It was very well cleaned,The meal isn't very filling, but it's just right. The taste is bland and it's all human skin lolThe only thing that was warm was the lightly flavored miso soup. The tuna and soft rice are delicious. There is a communal refrigerator on the first floor.Hot water pot (not a kettle)There is no air conditioning, so it will be hot in the summer. It is best to have separate baths for men and women. From 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

This inn was built over 140 years ago and you can feel its history.I was happy that they took care of me and provided me with a refrigerator. This time I only had breakfast, but it was delicious and made with plenty of mountain produce.

It's the perfect location to fulfill all your wishes, such as skiing, visiting shrines, and eating delicious soba noodles. I stayed here because of the reviews and the thatched roof building, and it was a great decision. The owner and his family were kind, the service was warm and polite, and most of all, the food was so delicious that I wondered if it was worth the price. The water was also delicious, as it used the same spring water as the waterfall at the shrine. We were traveling with young children, and they really enjoyed the atmosphere of a type of inn that they had never experienced before. I also felt warm consideration towards the children's dishes. If you're not careful when closing the door or walking, you'll hear some noise, but we didn't hear any noise from next door. It was cold in the hallways, but the heated rooms and dining room were warm. The toilets are shared, but they are clean and Western-style. Recommended for those who like the atmosphere of old buildings that look like old guesthouses.

The building that was once a lodging house for Togakushi Shrine has been preserved and is now used as an inn. The large thatched roof was covered with snow and many icicles were falling down. The building is made of wood and has a vintage feel, and the bathroom is quite tight with a washing area for 4 people and a bathtub for 6 people. The toilet has a washlet, but it is shared and there is no heating equipment. The water in the bathroom was so cold that my hands were freezing.I think it's good for people who find value in staying in an old Japanese house. On the other hand, if you are looking for a modern, warm and fully equipped accommodation, this is not the place for you.Is the food normal for a winter ski hotel? There were a wide variety of items made with local vegetables and mushrooms, and although they were very delicious, I didn't think they had much of an impact. The people at the hostel were very nice and kind.
