The voices of the women in the room next door were so loud that I couldn't sleep because they were talking loudly even after 1am.When I went out into the hallway, I could hear everyone talking. When I tried to call the inn to ask for help, there was no telephone in the guest room.I go to the front desk, but there's no one there. There are no calls.I had no choice but to knock on the room, but it got quiet. This was due to the customer's bad manners, but I was worried about how the hotel would respond in the event of a problem or emergency.othersThere are not many electrical outlets in the room. The toilet in the guest room does not have a washlet. There was a PayPay payment sticker, but it said cash only. When I entered the inn, there was a musty smell. The entrance, which is the face of the inn, was not kept clean and it was a disappointing experience.

About 25 years ago, my grandmother worked there and we often went to hot springs as a family. My grandmother passed away about 16 years ago.I don't have anything to go to anymore. I searched for the first time in a while and found that it was still open and the hot springs had not changed. I was very happy. I miss those days and would like to go again.I remember that Rose Onsen was very nice.

The room is a Western-style room with a clean bed, but the downside is that there is no desk and there aren't enough outlets to work. (I stayed alone in a twin room, but only one bed was made)Also, some rooms don't have a view of the river (I couldn't see it from my room). The hot springs were said to be open 24 hours, but as of 11pm, the hallway was pitch black. The stairs are dark, but the area in front of the hot springs is even darker and looks like a haunted house. Also, the temperature of the hot springs was so low that even I, who prefer lukewarm baths, felt lukewarm, and since I couldn't adjust the temperature of the shower, I felt like it would cool me down instead of warming me up.The staff's response is not bad, so I think it would be a good inn if they listened to the voices of the customers a little more.

It is not easy for foreigners to get to Kokono because it is not accessible by public transportation, but it is a good place to experience traditional Japanese local ryokans. The food service was satisfactory enough to make me wonder why this ryokan's Google rating was not high. In particular, the owner's friendly attitude toward welcoming guests was very impressive.Dinner was plentiful and delicious. The attitude of the serving staff was also very good. The ryokan I stayed at the night before was unfriendly and the food was half-hearted and tasteless, so I didn't want to come back to a Japanese ryokan again, but this place changed my mind. The hot spring was a traditional Japanese hot spring. The large public bath has an old-fashioned appearance with a roof. Very satisfied. The room was even better because it was a clean, renovated bed.

The owner was very kind and friendly. I felt good with the expression on my face. The food was varied and delicious. It was flawless, clean and delicious. I also loved the hot springs I enjoyed after overcoming the wind and cold to climb Nakadake, Kyushu's highest peak. If you want dessert after your meal, please ring the bell and ask. They probably wanted to finish quickly, but they chose the latest dinner time and deserved praise for their leisurely wait for our stretched dinner table with drinks.

I won a lottery where I could get a half-price accommodation ticket, and I chose this one out of two options for Hosenji Onsen. I couldn't get much information in advance, so I contacted the inn several days before the trip to confirm the details, and at that point I felt uncomfortable due to the unpleasant reception at the front desk. As soon as I opened the door after arriving on the day of arrival, it smelled like mold. The front desk staff did not give me a good impression, and the explanation was simple and they handed me the keys. Despite checking in around 3:45 pm, the lighting leading to the room was dim and the passageway was dirty. The entrance to the room feels more like a country apartment than a Showa era door. When you open the door, it makes a squeaky sound, and the interior is said to be in a Western-style modern style, but the layout feels forced. Even when I headed to the hot springs, there was no lighting in the passageway even though there were customers. There were no lights on for both men and women from the entrance to the inside of the hot spring, and the atmosphere was a bit scary, and when I went to the bath, all the mirrors were dirty and dull. The chair was child-sized and when I sat down, it slipped and fell backwards. When you go to the open-air bath, are there cleaning tools and cockroaches? is left alone. Did a garbage bag fly into the bathroom? Floating is the worst. When I was soaking in the indoor bath and looking up, I noticed a towel that looked like a rag was caught on the beam. The quality of the spring water was refreshing and didn't feel like a hot spring, but it was good. Dinner was a kaiseki meal with 10 dishes, so much that you couldn't finish it all, the taste and ingredients were excellent, and I would rate the service of the two of you in terms of cooking and serving as a 5. The guest room was rated around 2 because of the placement of the bed, the direction of the air conditioner, the inability to turn off the lights, and the lack of an extension phone. Breakfast time was late at 8 a.m., so due to scheduling reasons, we moved it up to 7:30 a.m. Breakfast is more luxurious than dinner, with 15 dishes. We had a luxurious breakfast prepared for us in the morning, which we thoroughly enjoyed.I stayed there after learning about the circumstances from the time of the damage to this place. I can tell you that it took a lot of hard work. However, since I am accepting them as a customer, I would like them to do the bare minimum. Our impression is that we don't have the impression that this store will continue for much longer, and that they think it's okay if the number of customers continues to decline.I was really happy that I was welcomed with delicious food.I sincerely hope that Hosenji Onsenkyo will prosper.Thank you.thank you for helping me.

The food was delicious. The dishes came out one after another, and I think the timing was good. The indoor hot spring bath is hot, so if you want to stay in the hot spring for a long time, I think the open-air bath is better. It's an old building, but that's part of the charm. Some people say it smells like mold, but since it's an inn along a river, it's natural for it to be damp, and the floor has also been flooded, so I don't think it would be a good idea to ask for it to be completely removed. . Rather than that, I think it would be better to organize the inside of the counter and the linen room. I support you. thank you very much.

It was a pleasant stay thanks to the kind hospitality of the owner. Dinner had a lot of variety, and it was very delicious, including sweetfish, salt-grilled yam, and chawanmushi, which I don't usually eat.The soup stock in the hot pot had a gentle flavor and left me feeling full.It was an inn I would definitely stay at again if I had the chance❣️

If you don't have your own car or motorcycle in the entire hot spring town, it will be difficult to get there. This time I visited with a rough itinerary, but I was shocked by the poor connection between JR and buses. w If you miss the bus, there will be a delay of at least 2 hours and you will not be able to recover. We recommend visiting by car or motorcycle that you can move around on your own.I'm very satisfied with the inn considering the price. Temperature and water depth of hot springs that can be accessed 24 hours a day! ! I was especially amazed at the depth of the water.Due to its location, it's not an easy place to visit, but if you live in Kyushu, I highly recommend it. After a little while, it looks like fireflies are dancing. ,,,,,I think it will be in June.If you have time, please take a look at the information center next to the Hosenji bus stop. You can feel the vestiges of the days when railroads were running.! ! I almost forgot. water! ! ! I thought they were talking about this kind of water by now. It's delicious.
