It was recommended to me by my husband who loves hot springs.I don't know if they are doing this or not, but there was no one at the front desk and I was told to just leave my money there, so I went to the bathroom. It was an interesting creation. The quality of the spring water was also good.

Looking at the post, I see that some people are talking about equipment and food.I'm staying there, but I have to be grateful for being able to stay there cheaply. It's a wonderful hot spring!

I made a reservation for half board, where you can enjoy Ikaho's famous hot spring "Kogane no Yu" and homemade dishes made with home-grown ingredients.Seasonal tempura → cold food? fried shrimp surimimixed rice → white riceCut udon → regular sobaI was fooled! It's a dish that makes you think,We recommend staying overnight without meals.

Maybe I'm talking extravagantly. I think they are doing their best to make ends meet, but I get the impression that they are relying too much on their Ikaho location and the fact that they have natural hot spring water, and they are not at a level where they can provide services. First of all, the guest room was so distorted that the entrance door wouldn't close. It was left unlocked when sleeping, and the padlock was locked from the outside when going out. The toilets were shared, so there were one on each floor, so it wasn't sanitary. The tatami mats and futons were damp and had a musty smell, and the pillow cases still had someone's hair on them. There is no air conditioner, only a fan. Perhaps it's because of the ingredients in the hot springs, but when you soak in the bath, your body turns completely brown and your towel looks like it's covered in mud. There is no shower, only a faucet, which is inconvenient. The food and salad were so fishy that I couldn't touch other plates, so I left within 5 minutes and checked out immediately. I paid close to 20,000 yen, but I think there are many things they can do as long as they take the money, but I don't feel any sense of service. It may be cheaper to stay overnight without meals, take a day trip to a hot spring nearby, drink late into the night, and just sleep, but it's definitely better to stay in your car. I want you to do what you can without giving up on your efforts. You should at least do something about the hair on your pillowcase.

Take a high-quality hot spring, eat, and sleepIf you think about that, I think it's a good value for money.I wonder if it feels like a hot spring treatment? There's no air conditioning, so it can be tough in the summer.

I suddenly had to go on a trip and chose this inn. The location was nice as it was next to the stone steps, but first of all, the room was in my grandmother's house from the Showa era. I can hear the vibration of the cell phone in the next room. The toilets are the worst. It's a Western style, but it can't be used in just one place. The futon is a damp old futon. To get to the bathroom, you have to go through the men's changing room to get to the women's bathroom, so I didn't know when to go in, so I didn't go in.The white rice for breakfast smelled so bad that I couldn't eat it.However, the employees were kind and responsive.

I stayed there for about 4,000 yen using the government's travel subsidy.I had read some reviews beforehand, so I decided to go here as if I wanted to see something scary. If I were to mention the benefitsIt's true that the hot springs are kept flowing 24 hours a day, and compared to places where you can bathe outside, the effects here are definitely better.Piping hot coffee and sweets are served at the hearth near the entrance, perhaps as a welcome service. You can go outside 24 hours a day, and there is a footbath about a 1-minute walk away. There are plenty of toothbrushes, combs, and cotton swabs. That's an advantage.But...the important disadvantage...As others have written, the inn itself is in a very dilapidated condition.I arrived at the inn in the evening and was thankful that the futon had already been put out, but there was hair on the futon and it didn't feel clean. For some reason, there is already trash in the trash can in the room...Two tenugui towels were prepared, but they also had mysterious stains on them...I booked a room for 4 people because I had room in my budget, but I was given a room for 2 people... However, since it was the top room, the footsteps were not noisy, but the charcoal was being cooked in the hearth on the first floor, so the room was always smoky. In addition to the facility, when I arrived at the inn, no staff came out and I was left at the entrance for about 5 minutes.Information on surrounding facilities and bus timetables to Lake Haruna were provided, but they were from 2015...It has been said that "it should not be seen as a hotel" (?), but if it is not seen as a hotel, then what should we look at...If you are like me and want to stay because you want to see something scary, I think you should be prepared.

To put it nicely, it's interesting. To put it poorly, it's in tatters in many places. It was an inn, but the hot springs were amazing!
