How is everyone involved with Shunran no Sato doing?I visited you in the summer of 2023 and had a very relaxing and luxurious time. It was very soothing. In the evening, we had beer, and the next morning they prepared plenty of miso cucumbers that came up during our conversation, and they were very delicious. I'm sorry that I left too much.I don't know what it is doing now due to the big earthquake, but it is a fine building with the large ``miraculous turtle stone'' in the photo, so I hope it will reopen someday.I’m going to try the miso cucumber again!

This story took place around 2005, but I would like to write about it because it is a very fond memory. When I was working alone in Shiga, my wife, two children, and two dogs came from Tokyo. Since it was summer vacation, I decided to head to the Noto Peninsula after seeing Kyoto and Shiga. A friend from my school days was in my hometown, so I was introduced to this place and I stayed there for one night.I have fond memories of enjoying the atmosphere of the old days, such as the hearth and spacious tatami room. What kind of situation will this earthquake have?I hope everyone is safe.

I had a very memorable time here. The owners are lovely people who enjoy talking with you, treat you like a guest but also a friend. The room I stayed in was so spacious and it felt so homely too because of the personal collection of items that decorate the room. The whole house itself is wonderfully quaint and peaceful. The location is situated in the mountains, so you can really feel the intense presence of nature here. I highly recommend asking to borrow their electric bike (I would double check beforehand), which will allow you to ride down to the seaside, into other towns, and take in the sublime vitality that exists where the mountains, fields and sea meet!

It's a private property, so it's safe even if you have small children.I'm happy to be able to take a bath with the whole family ♨️The food was all local, and the mushrooms, vegetables, and yamame (yamame trout) were more delicious than I expected, and the children ate lots of them.Gorgeous Wajima-nuri gozen and utensils✨I had a lot of fun playing hide-and-seek and tag inside the house with my kids, and it was a memorable stay😆

A little difficult to find, but once you're there, what a joy. Very kind and attentive hosts, who really make an effort so that we can communicate despite the language barrier, completely crazy food, everything is fresh and local. And the area is so beautiful. A very nice experience in our trip.
